I can't say enough about this restaurant. It is elegant and refined, and the menu is complete. The service is genteel and extraordinary; nothing is a problem for the staff, that tries to satisfy your every whim. Even the parking is no-nonsense valet parking experience. The most wonderful characteristic: the noise level is low enough to be able to talk to your companions! Though it is an expensive restaurant, it is a most relaxing experience. .

This was a wonderful special birthday dinner and the chef even prepared a meal of fresh sea bass without any salt, as requested, for my needs and pleasure. The complimentary dessert arrived on a plate decorated with birthday wishes in chocolate. Tables are comfortably arranged for private conversation and the noise level is low. The table settings, the kindness of the wait-staff and every detail was memorable,

I tend to be a tough critic of restaurants and the service they provide. Every detail was perfect. The service was impeccable. The staff was pleasant, inviting, helpful, and genuine. The food and drinks were incredible. The ambiance was regal. I greatly appreciated the soothing grand piano playing in the background. Highlights worth mentioning were the spicy rum & vodka martini, the extensive wine list which included PRIDE wines from Spring Mountain, California (cab and viognier served in the White House), and a to-die-for raspberry soufflé straight from heaven! If top of class service and a regal atmosphere is what you are after, this is THE choice. The entire experience left me relaxed, satisfied, and happy. I give the Lafayette my highest old-school recommendation.

I was staying at the hotel and we ate at the restaurant because it was handy. This is a very class operation which is a real white tablecloth restaurant offering you quality food, and service. The menu has nice offerings and everything is made in house even the ice cream. It will empty your wallet, but you will have a nice dinner. Many people seem to be not guests at the hotel and come for special occasions . The live piano music in the background adds to the dining area..
