It is worth to visit it. It's very original and different from all others.
I recommend to visit it mainly at sunset.

“Half of FDR”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 March 2012

This covers the domestic side of FDR's presidency very well. On the foeign oploicy side, it's as if World War II never happeed. FDR was a great wartime leader, none of which is capture in the monument.

“Best Monument in DC”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 March 2012

This monument is the best. Visit before or after seeing the MLK since they are less than a "block" apart. The messages, design, and artwork are truly inspiring.

Be sure to enjoy the Roosevelt linear park. It truly takes you thru his many years in the White House and the struggles in America during his presidency.

“out of the way, but worth it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 March 2012

The fountains are lovely, the statues are as thought-provoking as the quotes, and it's a lovely location near the Tidal Basin. Not as crowded as most of the other monuments.
