very good selection for brunch, freshly baked goodies, tasty salads and reasonably priced! Wish we have one in NC!

Simple food, so-so service, good ambiance. I love their tartines, especially the avocado one. I like as well the quinoa/chickpeas salad. It needs a little more chickpeas though!

The food is mediocre and feels rushed and pre-prepared. The restaurant is crowded and noisy and does not make for a relaxing meal. It is also quite expensive for small portions. For brunch, there are much better alternatives. For a quick coffee and pastry it is fine.

The Belgian waffle was the best thing we ordered. It was authentic Liegeois style. The skillet eggs were good. Pastries were decent but not the best we’ve had. But our real problem was the service. It took forever for a waiter to come to our table after we were seated. They were all hanging out and chatting instead of serving customers. It was like this the whole time we were there. A manger ended up clearing away our empty dishes. For a $40 breakfast for two, we expect better service.

We ate breakfast here each morning while staying at the Hotel Palomar.
The menu is large, and we all loved each selection. Favorites were the steel cut oatmeal with berries, goat cheese and mushroom omelet, scrambled eggs with toast AND salad. and all their fresh breads. Service was timely and friendly with much needed plentiful coffee.
