The two nights we stayed at the Lyle were awesome. One of the things that stood out the most was that EVERY SINGLE STAFF PERSON greeted us in the hallways, the lobby, the front door, and the bar. As a southerner, I don’t expect that type of hospitality, but they were extremely polite and nearly everyone greeted our dog Charley. It was impressive to say the least. The staff members were courteous and gave us a upgrade when we arrived. There is a jar of pet treats of the counter in the lobby for 4-legged guests. We received an upgrade to a larger room because they thought we’d appreciate more space.
There is a pretty cool bar/restaurant off of the lobby that had local craft beers on tap. Breakfast was included in the room/package that we booked. Everyone was able to find something that they liked. All of the staff members impressed us, but Johnny went above and beyond by being personable and even bringing ice cream to our children.
The mall isn’t very far. We walked to the White House when we arrived. This was a roughy 25 minute walk with children and a small dog.More
