We had dinner here with a group of friends on a Saturday evening. The place was packed. Nonetheless, we were seated promptly and our server was there immediately. The wine list is extensive, although on the expensive side. Actually, the food is expensive too! A pleasant young man comes to the table to explain the menu and the way they prepare the various kinds of fish on order. He even has uncooked fish to display - he is obviously present to sell the food.
We ordered one of the seafood towers, which was covered with a variety of fresh, cold raw seafood, from oysters, clams, lobster to scallops. All excellent. Our party ordered a variety of dishes, but the one that stood out above all others was the lobster ravioli. You will want the full portion, even at $60. It is delicious, in fact one of the best dishes we have enjoyed all year. And the addition of the shaved truffles did not hurt, damn the cost. The plate comes with large, tender pieces of lobster in an amazingly complex sauce, in addition to the lobster-stuffed ravioli.
We could not manage dessert after this. All in all, an excellent dining experience, but mostly because of the lobster ravioli!
