Tired from touring the city? Enjoy wonderful coffee and pastry there. Sitting outside is a possibility. We marveled at their pastries, and especially their cakes - and their coffee drinks are fabulous!

Stopped here mid-afternoon for some tea and coffee - good selection of choices. Although we didn't sample any, there were a lot of tasty-looking baked goods. Very relaxing sitting outside with our drinks and doing some people-watching.

Had the tarragon chicken salad on a croissant and coffee...anything special, no, not really. Good though, but not noteworthy in any way...croissant not flaky nor buttery, chicken salad rather blah and too much greens...might have been nice to have a tomato, but they didn't ask and I didn't know. Coffee OK. Relatively clean, nice service.

We needed fuel before a long day of touring in DC, and fire hook was our closest and quickest option. The massive croissant sandwiches were surprisingly light and fluffy, The coffee was very good. There is seating so you can dine in or take out. There are not a ton of options outside of traditional breakfast sandwiches but if that is what you're looking for this is your place.

Can't stop thinking about the yummy brownie I bought here on two different days. It is wonderful for a treat and coffee after a day of walking it off in DC
