My wife and I had our first visit to Rasika in mid-February. Plan on a 6-week wait for good weekend reservations, but it was worth it. We had inventive drinks at the bar before being seated at one of the windows on D Street, N.W. The service here was attentive but not intrusive throughout our dinner. We ordered several appetizers and sides, because we wanted to try a variety of their food. The palak chaat (crispy spinach) and scallops were delicious starts, and I ordered a lamb stew, with sides of cauliflower and peas, and a bread basket of regular naan, onion & sage, and mint. It was a wonderful evening throughout, and there's much more to explore during our next visit, whenever that might be.
