Texas de Brazil is a beautiful venue. The Brazilian Steakhouse has the traditional salad buffet which had a large variety and several excellent dishes. Although this buffet part of the meal is not nearly as extensive as it is in Brazil or Argentina, none of the others in the area are either. It is definitely competitive with other local Brazilian steakhouses. The barley salad, fried cheese, salmon and lobster bisque were all delicious. The chimichurro sauce as well as the mint sauce are excellent. Remember to take a ramekin of each to your table. These are just a few examples. Tableside carving service continued throughout the meal with a huge variety of protein. The garlic steak, filet, sausage and lamb chops were all outstanding. The other offerings were all good and included a few chicken dishes as well as other beef dishes. I cannot vouch for the ribs as I was too full to try them! Mashed potatoes and plantains are served family style as well as delicious bread baskets with herbed butter. They have valet parking on I Street, which is a plus in that area. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I will be returning!!!

This was our first time at this location and it did not disappoint. Prices here were cheaper than the other restaurant in DC with the same concept. Service here was top notch. We never had an empty glass or someone who wasn't there asking if we needed anything. The server had a great personality and chatted with us like we were friends. This restaurant employs real Brazilians, which was a great touch.

This is a typical Brazilian churrascaria. Clients pay $46 and can eat as much meat as wanted. Children from 6 to 12 y.o. pay half the price (ie $23), which I found a little expensive for our 7 year-old boy who finish eating after 2-3 different meats.
Good choice of meats, the salad buffet has a lot of choice and is good. The service is very friendly.

Got there right when they opened at five and despite being the only people there the service was attentive and excited to serve us. Meats especially the flank were delicious. Salad bar was very fresh and great selection, even had shrimp !! Comparable to Fogo de Chao.

This place used to be Buddha Bar. The space is huge and elegant. I was
pleased to see that the ambiance and atmosphere is still open and
spacious. Big windows, a lot of light. The salad bar is definitely better
than Fogo de Chão's and the offerings are more diverse. The meat is not
exactly up to Brazilian standards. The Picanha, for instance, tasted a bit
plain and needed more seasoning. Also, the dining room was extremely cold.
We were seated next to a window, on the Massachusetts Avenue side, and the
A/C vents in the ceiling were blowing right onto our table, cooling off
our food right away. This was very annoying and also uncomfortable. Also,
the staff don¹t clear the plates between courses unless you ask for a new
plate. Overall, good but needs improvement.
