On a short visit to D.C., my husband and I met our three adult children here for a delightful brunch. The day was cold and snowy, and after a fifteen minute walk from our hotel, we were pleased to find a warm, welcoming room and a very friendly staff. We ordered a round of classic cocktails before our meal after debating whether to order the half-price bottle of sparkling wine available during weekend brunch. Among us, we ordered the omelette, the "day after" breakfast sandwich (fantastic eggs, Italian ham, and pecorino cheese), caramelized banana pancakes, the breakfast burrito, and a lobster roll. All except the pancakes came with potatoes, though we ordered extra (yummy and crispy) frites. We shared an unexceptional creme brûlée and a bland cookie plate for dessert. I have to say that our view of dessert may have been colored by the fact that each of us ate every delicious bite of our main order, and had no business ordering anything more! Recommended!

We had dinner here while we were staying in the hotel for our one year anniversary! We had brunch that morning and dinner at night! Our wallets are yelling at us, but it was worth every penny! We both ordered burgers for dinner! When the plates were delivered to our table, our jaws dropped at how many fries we got with the meal, as well as how juicy the burgers looked! We were pleased with the care the was put into these sandwiches and the horseradish sauce was perfect! Our server, Joe presented us with chocolate gelato for our anniversary and they complimented the creme brulee we ordered for desert! Great place to have dinner! I recommend it!

Very attractive setting with engaging decor. Came for breakfast as we were staying at the hotel. The service was better than average on the whole and the menu offered some interesting options so it was disappointing to discover that over easy eggs and breakfast sausage were too difficult to get right. Eggs barely cooked while sausage needed a steak knife to cut. When I mentioned how overlooked the sausage was, my server replied that this was not the norm, no offer to replace or any thought as to how to remedy my complaint. As we were his only table, he was hardly overworked. So disappointing that we skipped breakfast this AM and ate somewhere else.

We ate here for the New Year's Eve dinner event. We all enjoyed our meals. The lobster was a little tough/over cooked. Great flavors though, and great drinks.

We did not have dinner, I want to be clear. This is strictly a review of the bar, the happy hour and fantastic drinks. We had reservations at Nora Restaurant a bit later in the evening, and decided to have a couple cocktails with our friends before walking to dinner. Wow were we glad we did. The happy hour specials were amazing, and frankly the drinks were very, very good (not typical happy hour slammed together crappy drinks). The finger foods available including the stuffed mushrooms were very good. Very glad we stopped in and we will definitely return to try the full menu.
