Got a bad case of food poisoning and booked this location because it was unsafe for me to drive any further.
-Location is along I-5 in a fairly rural area south of Redding. No road noise from room.
-Prices were cheaper than comparable locations in Anderson and Redding by about $20-30.
-Room was clean.
-Two queen beds.
-Clientele seemed to be people related to events like weddings. Some Senior Citizens.
-Parking was free.
-Wifi was ok and AT&T signal is strong.
-The staff was very pleasant at both check-in and check out.
-Microwave and mini-fridge.
-Bathroom is a decent size.
-Location is next to the Sacramento River and seems like a nice area for walking.
-The shape of the building I was in was a circle. It did nothing to detract from the room and was interesting.
-Restaurant food is fairly expensive (even with coupon) and you'll need to drive to get to other meal options.
-No electrical outlets near the beds and you need to use the desk for charging.
-Bed was pretty uncomfortable and the sheets seemed thin and cheap.
For $80 you could do much worse than Gaia on the I-5 Redding corridor. If I'm saving $30 from the standard rates I would have no problem staying again.More
