This place is very spread out and therefore it's quite. It looks a lot nicer in the pictures online than I found it to be. There is a nice restaurant attached. The staff didn't explain much, other than they will charge you an arm and a leg if you are found smoking or with an undisclosed pet.

We enjoyed two separate stays--a one night and a few days later, a two night stay. The rooms are large and comfortable. The gardens and walkways were quiet and serene and provided pleasant walks along the River. We didn't even mind that it was somewhat cold.

This is conveniently located right off exit 670. Had trouble finding the lobby as it is not marked. Made a same day reservation through hotels.com and it cost more than making one in advance. The rooms have heavy doors could use a stopper or some way to hold the door open when bringing in luggage. The shower was hard to figure out as the shower adjustment is on the bottom of the faucet. Didn't spend much time in room, but the tv worked and the radio had a phone charger on it so we only had to plug in our phone to charge it. The first floor rooms have patios which we didn't have a chance to use. But being able to open the sliding glass doors to let fresh air in was nice. There is a restaurant on site seemed a bit pricey to me but they do give a 15 percent discount for the second meal. It would be nice to have a list of local restaurants in the room and menus. They did have 2 places listed maybe that is all there is. Didn't explore the town went to Redding to visit friends and ate at Denny's in Redding. There was a pool I saw someone swimming in it so it must be heated. Didn't have time for the spa. The next day the air was very polluted outside and sky heavy with contrails. Decided not to stay in the area and went home.Someone had mentioned the fact that the shampoo, etc was in a wall dispenser. I thought this was good as I always drop the little bottles of shampoo in the shower. They had hand soap in pump bottles which was also convenient. This is a green hotel which is important to me due to my allergies.

We stayed last week at the Gaia Hotel and enjoyed our stay. The resort is very unique and feels much more open than a traditional hotel. Rooms are clean. I️ can see an update in the near future but again, it is clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The convenience of having a restaurant right there was great and the food wonderful. We would stay again if we visit the Redding/Anderson area.

This property is about 1/4 mile off the I-5, so you do get a little road noise when outside your room. Rooms are clustered in one of three rounds and some detached bungalows. Pets are allowed for a fee. Our room was large, quiet, clean, and comfortable. However, the AC does not have a fan only mode, so it comes off and on with the thermostat. This is a good property for meetings, weddings, and small conferences. The grounds are sizable. The check-in experience was less than desirable. Sort of like paying a traffic ticket. However, check-out clerk was very nice. Did not try the restaurant.

Room Tip: Try and get a room that does not face the highway.
