Was really nervous about staying somewhere that cost less than $65 per night. That said, the place wasn't as bad as expected, there was no smell of marijuana, as many of the reviews stated, and the room was fairly large, clean, and staff was friendly. The sink did not drain very well and the toilet had issues re-filling with water, but overall it was to be expected for the price. The pool appeared decent from a distance, but we didn't use it. Breakfast included waffles, donuts, juice, cereal, etc. Also surprising for the price. I did attempt to make a waffle and had to toss it though because the batter seemed watered down and it didn't set properly. . .just couldn't stomach it. Was also disappointed that the room did not have a mini fridge and was not available upon request. Fridges are available with the price and inconvenience of a room upgrade.
Overall, it was mediocre and we'd probably stay here again if traveling highway 101. Free wifi was available, but the connection was extremely slow and made it impossible to download anything from the cloud.

Stayed here on our way to Oregon. All I can say is gross! It was the longest 6 hours of sleep I had. The room felt dirty, the bathroom was dirty, and the continental breakfast was questionable. The coffee was good, that's it!

Gross and scary, it look as if there were people that lived here, during the night there was some partying of activity in the parking lot out side our window.

Dogs allowed but there was only a over grown yard for Fido and no attempt by anyone to clean up after their dogs.

The bed mattresses were stained and quite old, and bedding stained as well, we asked for extra pillows and it was taken from another room. We ask for laundry facilities and was referred to the public Laundromat across the street where the house keepers do Red Roofs Inns laundry. It was cleaner than our room.

Key card machine stopped working after our arrival so the quests that came later had to be let into their rooms by the front desk master key.

Room Tip: I am not sure there was a good room or location

Terrible place, got a headache from people smoking pot in the rooms. We complained to the front desk, they did nothing for us. We contacted corporate and they appologised and sent us a free night stay, so we tried the one in Portland Oregon and it was just as bad, the pot smell was horrible, so we went to the front desk, told the guy we were not staying and drove all the way back home. We spent over 12 hours on the road that day. We will never ever stay at a Red Roof Inn again, I would rather pay triple the rate to stay anywhere else. Freaking pot smokers dont understand smoke free means no cigarettes and no pot smoke!!!

The interior beyond the lobby is in need of help. My room was gross, and did not feel clean. I was supposed to stay two nights while I was in the area, and I left after one. There were some sort of brown stains in the bathroom, the vent cover was broken and a wad of tissues had been stuffed in it. While there was space for one, there was no mini fridge either - would not recommend to anyone. Lots of homeless folks roaming around the grounds and parking lot as well.
