We quite enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Altamonte Springs. The front desk team were all very helpful and friendly, both over the phone and in person. Kenya checked us in and was great and made us feel welcomed.
We had three rooms here and all were brand new. You could smell the new carpet/fresh paint on the walls. The rooms were comfortable, tastefully designed, and have pleasant décor. Rooms include a mini-fridge and Hilton Honors members (at least Gold & Diamond) have access to a 24/7 lounge on the 7th floor that includes free coffees, lattes, cappuccinos, sodas, bottled water, free breakfast, evening reception, and cash bar. We all LOVED this amenity.
We dined at the hotel restaurant for lunch, which was very good and the service was excellent. I wish I could remember her name, but the young lady who worked on Saturday, 8/4 during lunch at U took exceptional care of us.
The hotel seems to do a good job catering to group business as there were many meeting rooms and all seemed to be in use. There was a "shriners" type group in-house, either a college or high school sports team, and a church group all in-house during our stay.
Our one gripe was pool towels. We requested pool towels three times, but they never came. If this was our one gripe about the hotel, we'll deal with it because it was otherwise great.
Overall, it was a great hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again and I would recommend it to others as well.
