My cousin and I always come here for the sesame crusted tuna which now seems to actually be on the menu, albeit as a “special”. It used to be one of those local secrets that you just had to ask for. As always, it was very, very good, served rare with soy sauce and wasabi. The coleslaw was excellent, very fresh and creamy and just a bit sweet. The fresh mangos were delicious and the side salad was fresh and prepared to order with no onions, as requested. The vegetables were very tasty and perfectly prepared. The key lime pie is definitely enough to share and was some of the best I’ve had. The service was prompt and friendly and the prices are reasonable. It’s definitely not fancy, but is a genuine piece of Old Florida which is fast disappearing. The Rod and Reel is definitely recommended; it never disappoints!
