Service is horriable. Wait time is expected on a busy weekend, but what we experienced was ridiculous. Almost an hour wait, then waiting for our food for over an hour(after ordering), they come back and say they are out of various foods. What we did get was soggy fish dripping with grease that tasted like the grease had not been changed in months. Tea was soured, coleslaw had turned and tasted of vinegar. Ask for ranch dressing and tastes like mayo. Then the waitress said she couldn't make change and wanted to keep the extra money for a tip. That's not even the highlight of the evening. Contacting the owner to express our displeasure, he was rude, arrogant and insulting. Blaming the customers and bragging, about how packed the place was. Was told to go to McDonalds next time. How this run down dump ever gets a rating over one star amazes me. We were not the only people complaining to management. The BBB needs to investigate this place.

We have been to AFC 1-2 times a year for several years, and this was the first time (maybe last) for 2017. The entrance ramp was littered with beer cans , trash and plastic cups. One of the rest rooms were out of order. The staff is young, inexperienced and not properly trained. The tables, chairs, floors are dirty , sticky and disgusting. The front door is blocked off. I'm wondering if a health and fire inspection is needed.

This is really disapointing, as this used to be a rustic place, with good food and a nice place to get off the water for a bite to eat.

Went for dinner with another couple and left without eating. We ordered chips and dip as an appetizer. Sat for over an hour and after asking a few times finally got some chips and cold salsa. An hour and half plus in I finally asked the "manager" about our dinner and he was going to check on it after he finished socializing with a friend. He came back and said it would be coming out soon and blamed the waitress as being new and putting things in wrong. The waitress said she wasn't new and this wasn't her fault. When they finally brought out our order it was all wrong. I had a grilled cheese sandwich and it wasn't even right. One of the dinners was supposed to be oysters and shrimp and he got a mushroom swish burger. We just left, and had a hot meal as ordered at 11:00 pm at Waffle House down the road. I would suggest keep driving right on by. And I won't even discuss the bar or bathrooms.

We decided to give this new place a try. We got there and the hostess said a 45 minute wait. We only ended up waiting for 15 minutes. Not bad we thought. We sat down and after a little while our waitress came and took our drink order. We ordered chips and queso and she said it would be a bit, we said ok and waited. We got the chips and queso about 15 mins later. She took our food order and thats when it all went downhill. We sat for an 1.5 hours waiting on our food, she kept coming by and apoligizing. She had our table of six, a table behind us with six people and a large table of about 8-10 people. We were the only groups not getting food. Not sure if the kitchen was mad at our server but no food. One table got up and left, we decided to do the same, we paid for our drinks and chips and left. The manager/owner never came out of the door. He kept looking at everyone and we could hear him getting mad at the servers but never came and said a word. Once down on the docks everyone was talking about how they just left and how unhappy they were. I was so looking forward to a new option on the lake, they have such a beautiful venue, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. I can't comment on the food because the chips were not fully cooked and the queso was just queso.

Wanted to check out this local establishment. Each year lake season opens and along with it establishments like the Acworth Fish Camp. We tried the popcorn shrimp and oyster basket with pasta salad. Lightly breaded and fried just right. Come by and say hello to Matt, the bartender.
