Settled at Flayva's Cafe, a neat Rastafarian hangout, Sergio set up 2 tours for us. The best was a cave tubing day at Jaguar Paws. Fine guide, and cheerful driver. Sergio went the extra mile in making sure we caught the bus to Orange Walk after tubing.

Sergio Paiz at Destiny Tours came recommended by a friend, and we were not disappointed; he was terrific! We arrived by bus in San Ignacio from Belize City and Sergio was easily located on the main street at Flava’s Bar and Grill. Mark, the owner at Flava’s, was very helpful and contacted Sergio who met us while we enjoyed a delicious lunch. We had two objectives while in the Cayo area; one was the ATM Cave and the other was to travel across the border to Tikal in Guatemala. Sergio orchestrated the trips with ease and efficiency and we had an enjoyable experience with excellent guides at a decent price with both excursions – he also helped with some hotel recommendations as we had arrived in town during a busy weekend without accommodations. I would highly recommend having Sergio arrange travel and tours for you – he is extremely personable, professional and helpful. He has been in the tour business for several decades, and is a true local from the San Ignacio area. I look forward to my next visit to the Cayo region and will check in with Sergio for sure!

Went to Caracol with Destiny tours on January 5. Sergio is a good salesman who tends to make things look rosy so ask questions. In particular ask about a vehicle. We didn't and ended up in a beaten up Cherokee with almost no suspension. No minor problem when going to Caracol. The vehicle is the reason for average rating.
Because otherwise the trip was amazing. Caracol is an absolute must to visit. I won't review it here because one needs more than a few words to do it justice. Suffice to say that It is one of the fundamental Mayan sites and it is in the jungle.
We had an excellent guide, his name is Salvo. He is knowledgeable laid back and very approachable. He knows reasonably well Mayan history, religion and styles of architecture. He also has encyclopedic knowledge of the jungle - he knows every tree, grass and bug there. So we had fun and in the end forgave Sergio for making mess of our behinds.

We are so sorry about your rough ride to Caracol! It is indeed a terrible road, we have yet to meet the car that makes it a smooth journey, we should have make that more clear. We have high hopes for pavement in the near future, in the meantime we will caution all of our guests on what to expect. Thank you for the feedback.

The man running this was very nice. He is located at Flayva's restaraunt. We had Carlos Panti as our guide for the ATM tour. Out of all the guides we had during our two weeks in Belize, my daughter and I enjoyed Carlos the most.
