This restaurant is conveniently located directly across the street from ISU campus. We were there for brunch which had a limited, but interesting menu heavy on protein(it is Brazilian), A large group came in just before us so I thought our food would be delayed but their food came out quickly and ours followed soon behind. My husband had an omelet and I had the breakfast plate with 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, and hashbrowns. The sausage seems home made. The best item was a cheese bread. They are small biscuits with a yummy, stretchy cheese inside.

Ordered the signature sandwich with beef and fries. I also ordered it hot which included Thai peppers. The combination was fantastic!

:ove the Brazil flavor of this little pub. The sandwhiches are excellent. Right sized and never heavy.

Located in Campustown, this laid back restaurant with a bar serves Brazilian / Latin American food. We eat a lot of home-cooked Latin American food so as "insiders" would classify the food here as good. We usually order empanadas and fried yuca for starters. Recently had a chicken soup here that was okay. The charm of this place is not so much the food but the boho vibe. It is a great place to hang out with friends for long discussions over lunch or after work.

We went for the Long Island Ice Teas and stayed for the food. The drinks were very good and the food was delicious. Two of us shared the Bauru Hamburger. It was unique and flavorful. It was large enough to share and included ham, a fried egg and bacon, corn, peas, cheese , tomato and lettuce. Another friend ordered the Gyro, and it was very good. The Brazilian fries were yummy. The atmosphere has a cozy feel. It is a bar, but the Columbian decor makes it special. Our server was very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed meeting the Brazilian owner and hearing his story. Be sure to visit this special spot in Ames.
