We came for a dinner on Thursday without prior booking but the restaurant was not busy. Non-smoking holl is on 2nd floor and we were free to choose pretty much any table for ourselves. U
We were not very hungry so we went for a squid a la plancha which came with mash potatoes and some grilled vegetables. It was very tender and well made, quite tasty.
We had a bottle of local wine that was recommended by the waiter (Semilant) but it was rather sweet for my taste so I wouldn't take that one with shellfish.
Overall we were extremely satisfied and will be back again.

This charming restaurant and bar is on the outside of the old Medina facing towards the Sofitel Hotel. It was busy when we arrived but we had no trouble getting a table. There was quite a buzz many locals out with friends. As it was a cold night we opted to eat inside. The non-smoking area was upstairs. The room felt a bit closed in but otherwise was fine. The menu focuses on fresh seafood, simply cooked. This was a pleasant change from the heavier tagines. My John Dory (complete with skin so I could see the characteristic spot on the fish) was moist. There were vegetables to accompany the fish. My partner had the trio of two fish and calamari all which were tender. We shared a half bottle of local rosé. Service was friendly and price was modest.

Simple but well cooked fish at good prices. Decor and ambience simple and pleasant. Very friendly service. Fair prices and good range of fish dishes. Reasonably priced wine too.
