An ancient and beautiful riad indeed. Staff are friendly and the food is not bad. View from the roof is stunning. However it is a bit smelly in the room. I would recommend for stay in Fes.

As a family of first time visitors to Fes, we were frankly intimidated by our 3 day stay here after coming from Marrakech, which has a much more developed infrastructure catering to (non Muslim) tourists. From the first minute that we stepped through the doors of Riad Fes Maya, Ibtissaam was there to help us, and to assist us in getting the best experience from Fes.

This included being genuinely caring and concerned about our two boys, giving us a quick rundown on where to go, where not to in the old Medina, and recommending local craftsmen (off the tourist path, out of the Medina ) for pottery and tile work.

Oh, and our stay in the Riad was unique - we had all the modern conveniences you could want (surprisingly speedy wifi, highly effective AC that only needed to be turned on for a couple of hours at a time, and a flat screen TV which we never used, even with the drama of the World Cup), and at the same time found ourselves immersed in a historically accurate restoration of a 15th century Moroccan palace; replete with some original tile work, intricately carved plasterwork, and ornately carved cedar ceilings and trimwork.

Many thanks for an unforgettable stay, and a once in lifetime experience, particularly on behalf of our children!

Me and my wife went for dinner. Staff is amazing, food was the best we had in Morocco.
If you go to Fes, thats the place to go.
The manager gave us a lot of attention and even when we were lost, she sent someone to pick us in the street (for free).
Thanks guys

This riad is really the most beautiful place, it is well located, near the central part of the medina, everywhere you look is beautifully preserved in good taste. Our room was so spacious and beautiful, with great views and very quiet despite being in the medina. Breakfast on the roofttop is such a treat and great way to start the day exploring Fes. The manager Ebtessam was such a pleasure to see everyday, she was so kind and patient with our big group, doing whatever she could at all times of the day to help us. The rest of the team Sabah, Anvar, and Mohammad were also so kind and helpful. I would definitely highly recommend this place! Thank you so much Ebtassam for making our time in Fes so special!

We, my wife and I, with a group of friends stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel ambience and room quality were top superior. We all liked the service by hotel crews and management. Specially big thank to Ebtessam (manager), Anvar, and Mohammad that did their best to ensure we have a pleasant and problem free stay here. Their support and service were at highest quality. Very safe and well situated in Fes. We had easy walking access to most part of Fes city centers. At same time very quiet place. The roof top restaurant is a charm with beautiful view of the city. Highly recommending this place.
