Our tour operator had booked us this hotel in advance. However, they failed to inform anyone that there is renovation and construction going on in one half of the riad. I understand that they don’t want to lose revenue, but they should also understand that paying customers do not want to stay next to a construction site. The pool is dirty with stagnant water. Our itinerary also included dinner, but we were told that they do not serve dinner. They also turn off all the lights in the common area when no one’s there. I understand they want to save money, but this is not the way to run a hotel. Book at your own risk .

This hotel seems like more like a palace, with just a few amazingly beautifully decorated rooms. The lobby is an intricately tiled courtyard. The rooms were comfortable and the staff very helpful. It is a memorable place.

I recently took a tour with my mother in Morocco, and had the pleasure of staying at the Riad El Yacout for 2 nights. From start to finish, our stay was absolutely perfect. The staff was helpful, kind, funny and polite. The restaurant had delicious food, and was a perfect, serene setting for a relaxing dinner. Everything we needed was there, even laundry service!
Our waiter, Marcos, made sure that we were well looked after every morning and night, and he was very kind and attentive during our stay. The hotel beds were so comfortable, and the room was just perfect. I hope to come back!

Our first visit to Marokko and FES started in this cozy RIAD. We were greeted by Markos who was an excellent ambassador of the RIAD El Yacout. He created the cozy atmosfeer and organized an evening with life music at dinner. Location, food en cleanliness was good. Very friendly staff.

This Riad bypassed all our expectations. Very beautiful. For our family of four they accommodated us in a two bedroom suite overlooking the pool. It was spacious and well cared for given the age of this place. Everyone we met was very nice. It was Ramadan so unusually quiet but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return again!
