We only visited the roof top bar for (yes alcoholic) drinks. Been there three times during our stay. Great view during the day. It's a nice retreat from the hustle&bustle down in the souks.
Expect western prices and you will be amongst (friendly, nice & mixed) tourists only.

Saved our night as being one of the few places serving food decently late, nice service, good food and a great terrace with a view.

The service in this restaurant which is reachable after climbing many stairs leaves much to be desired . The background music is loud and not at all in harmony to the setting or the view from the terrace . The food ( the tajine ) , perhaps the worst I had in Marrakech leaves much to be desired . It is a real shame that the full potential of what this restaurant could be , has yet a long way to be reached .A tourist trap and definitely not worth what is charged .

Finding a restaurant that serves alcoholic beverages in Marrakesh Medina can be a challenge, so the Cafe Arabe (literally opposite the wonderful Jardin Secret), was a good find. There is a nice lounge on the first floor with Berber style but we sat up on the rooftop under a welcome awning (well, it was early January) and close to an outdoor heater. The rooftop is quite high, so there is a nice sunset view.
We came for drinks, which were served with breadsticks, and then I decided I wanted a snack too - the vegetarian spring rolls came as a generous portion of three large, piping hot rolls. Elsewhere on the rooftop three gentlemen had been parked by their wives with beers for the duration of some souk shopping (good idea), and a somewhat raucous crowd where having a great time.
The service was good and Prices are similar to what you would pay in Europe.

Cafe Arabe, in the heart of the Medina is a great find which was recommended to us by Moroccan friends. The food is great and a good fusion of Italian & Moroccan. Try the Moroccan red wines as they’re delicious! We are in the top terrace both times and the restaurant was full with people queuing out the door on both occasions. Book before you go!
