We have stayed in the riad with a group of nine and hence occupied four of the six rooms. All rooms were modern, freshly renovated and beautiful; a perfect combination of traditional architecture and modern design. The rooftop is a nice hideaway from the busy city that you directly face, when you leave the riad. The hosts were very friendly - although the riad does not belong to them but an European businessman. All in all we can highly recommend the place for a short trip to the city. The rather high fare is worth it.

Dear Matthias,

In the name of the whole team, big thanks for review and compliments. The staff did appreciate your stay with your kind group. And so happy we all are that the magic worked. We provide a experimented team with 6 people for 6 rooms and provide a personalized support available 24 hours.
We effectively share our time between the riad and Europe, and we are passionate about Marrakech and our riad over all.

In the great pleasure to welcome you personally.
Best regards,

Sophie and Sam

Sam, his wife and the team created a warm welcome to their Riad. The dinner was fantastic and was lovely prepared. The rooms are nicely decorated, all of them reach out towards the inner courtyard. In there they also serve the breakfest and dinner. There is also a very chilled inside area, where you can sit, listen to music and also can enjoy dinner or breakfest. The team is extremely helpful, very nice, friendly and they really try to do the best for their guests. If i had to mention one minus point is that (as many Riads are) the rooms are close to each other and the doors / windows are very thin. Therefore you hear most of the things which happen in the courtyard. But - if you don't go to sleep to early nothing will disturb your sleep in the very comfortable bed. @ Sam, we unfortunately did not manage to find the lamp store, but maybe next time ;-) Thank you for everything.

Room Tip: i think all rooms are equal and i heard there is one suite.

Dear friends,
Thanks for review and your stay with us. There are 2 suites in the riad (Warda and Zaïra).
The traditionnal morrocan architecture indeeds that the few noises in patios (courtyards) can be heard in the rooms. But as the atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful, this is bearable.

For the lamp, you just have to come back ;) And wherever you'll stay, phone us to help you to find it.
In the great pleasure to welcome you again, doors of the riad will always be opened to you.

Kindest regards,

Sam & Sophie

Our 4 nights stay at this Riad was an absolute pleasure. The Riad is beautifully setup with all the necessary amenities whilst still holding on to the culture and traditional layout. The Riad is conveniently located very close to the Medina, yet away from all the hustle & bustle.

Upon our arrival in the evening, we were warmly welcomed by Khalil who guided us to the lounge area. The place is quiet, calm and very clean. We were then offered some traditional Moroccan Mint Tea along with the local sweets. Once we settled in, we decided to go out for a meal and Khalil was very helpful as he came along with us and showed us some good places to eat with directions on getting around.

We spent some memorable late evenings speaking to Khalil and Azzedine, discussing about the heritage and culture of Morocco. Azzedine treated us to his talented voice whilst he sang some of our favourite Arabic songs. Upon our return every day to the Riad, we were always treated to some mint tea, nuts and pastries.

The entire staff at this Riad were very pleasant, down to earth, helpful and genuine. We enjoyed the tasty meals prepared by Nazira, the cheerfulness of Khalil, Mohamed and Azzedine and the amazing ambience.
The breakfast served on the terrace was one of the highlights and we always looked forward to it. The suite we stayed in was very beautiful and kept clean every day.
Our stay was an absolute pleasure.

I must congratulate the owners of this Riad for ensuring that the guests are felt welcome to such an extent that when we were leaving, it was emotional. This is due to the excellent staff working here who are truly an asset to the Riad. We do wish you all the best and would like to thank Khalil, Mohamed, Azzedine, Nazira and everyone else who ensured that we felt at home during our stay in Marrakech.

We do hope to return again in the future and would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking a pleasant stay in a distant country.

Room Tip: Room on upper level gives a nice view

The stay at the Riad was a real pleasure. As we arrived to the place we were welcomed with a cup of delicious Moroccan mint tea served with pastries. After the worm welcome we were given the opportunity to upgrade our booked room to a suite on the site. This small gesture made our stay even more pleasurable and made us feel incredibly welcome. We arrived to Marrakech with no plan what to do during our 8 days of stay in Morocco. Fortunately the staff and the owners of the Riad were extremely helpful and helped us during our stay with arranging trips (i.e. excursion to Sahara) and navigating through the city of Marrakech. Undoubtedly, without that help we wouldn't be able to see and try so many things. Except for the excellent staff the riad offers outstanding quality when it comes to rooms and services they provide. The rooms where very clean and good looking with modern yet traditional style inspired by the region. The terrace at the top floor provides a nice glance at the city's skyline and is a nice place to enjoy the sunset with a cup of traditional tea. I wold also recommend ordering a dinner at the riad. They offer delicious menu with traditional Moroccan food. We ordered a dinner with Couscous Royal and it honestly was one of the best ones we had.
It’s hard to describe the atmosphere we experienced during our stay at the riad. We felt incredibly welcome. The staff working there is very helpful and the riad itself offers a cozy place to rest. All in all, we would highly recommend this place to anyone who looks for a nice hotel to escape their daily routine and wants to explore the streets of Marrakech. Sam and Sophie -THANK YOU!

Room Tip: All rooms are great. If you can choose take the ones on 1st floor.

Dear Grazy and Tom,

It was our first meeting with Warsaw travelers and what a beautiful one !

If you have felt at home and have been well received, it is also because you are among the friendliest hosts we have ever welcomed. Relaxed, open to discovery, polite and respectful (including children), interesting. Beautiful arrangements for a memorable week.

And if the magic of Marrakech, it is also its inhabitants, staying in a riad of the medina, it is to offer all Morocco.

The whole team thanks you for your stay with us. We are waiting for you for the next trip!

Regards,

Sam & Sophie

Me and my wife stayed a two nights in this riad. We must say we were absolutelly satisfied with the place and the owner. The riad is very beautiful, comfortable and quiet. It is located in the heart of the medina, just five minutes from Jamaa el fna square. Sophie and Sam are very helpful and they takes care of all visitors having a splendid breakfast (-we won't forgett those breakfasts...). We found our room perfectly made up every day.
I would definitely recommend this riad, the location is so ideal (we walked everywhere from there)amazing staff , and it made a (potentially daunting trip) very relaxing and comfortable.
Thanks again for the wonderful stay!!!
