Stayed there 2 times already and I have to say that the Riad Jawad never fails to satisfy my needs. Very pleasant Riad not far from the center with great staff and very good food. The swimming pool area is very pleasant and relaxing. I would recommend to stay there for anybody wanting to enjoy Marrakech at its best!

Room Tip: I would advise the tents

The hotel has really good breakfast, dinners are also nice and the rooms are also good (except there is no English tv channel).
On the internet it says that we could check-in as from 14h, but when we arrived at 16h they were still cleaning our room… They did do this very thoroughly though, because when I looked in the room they were ironing the sheets on the spot! But unfortunately the room was only ready after 17h30.
When we entered the room (nr. 3) there was a not so pleasant smell, and it was not in the bathroom but in the room itself. We thought it would go away, so we went for dinner but when we returned the smell was still there and you could really smell it entering the room. Also, because the room is between the poolside and the inside sitting area, we heard 2 kind of musics through the wall which was slightly annoying. But when we said this to the reception, they immediately stopped the music so thanks for this.
The guy at the reception told us that there was a strange smell in the room because of the previous guests, I don’t know (and don’t want to know) what they did in there. However, 5min later another guy (I think the manager) knocked at our door to ask if something was wrong, so we told him about the smell, and he just waived it away, saying that he didn’t smelled anything strange. Which was a little bit disappointing because the guy at the reception already acknowledged it without going into the room.
The next day we did receive some scented candles for in the room.
The hotel is really far from the city centre – we deliberately choose for a hotel that would be outside the centre but we didn’t know that it would be this far with really nothing else in the neighborhood. On the internet it ays that there is free transport to the centre of Marrakech, but this is only for the Medina. We checked with the guy earlier, because we were moving to another hotel nearby the train station, and he said it would be ok.
But when we checked out, it said 75 MAD on the bill for transport to the hotel, which was unfortunate. The more because we first received our bill, and it was not on it. What was also not on it was our massages that we had during our stay, and we were so kind to say that they forgot them. So they reprinted the bill and added the additional transport to it, even after we just pointed out that there was 630 MAD missing on the bill… Our honesty was not rewarded sadly.
Overall, the stay was good but the prices are relatively high compared to other good and nice hotels in Morocco. If we are ever going back to Marrakech, we won’t be staying in this hotel anymore.

We thank you sincerely for your comments regarding your last stay with us we are sorry to hear that you encountered problems during your stay Please note that we have taken note of your remark about we present our most sincere apologies . Be assured that the necessary measures will be implemented to improve the quality of services raised regarding the shuttle it is mentioned that it is free only to the medina if you prefer another destination there will be a supplement , about locating our riad is one of the riads was outside the nearest town and it to offer customers who demand quiet as if it's on the road there will be the noise of cars etc. .... However, it really is a joy for us to hear that you enjoyed the room and the services of our restaurant .. We always will do our utmost to continue to meet your expectations and we look forward to you welcome back very soon among us. Very Sincerely, Mrs. jihane

This riad is heaven! The grounds are so beautiful, the staff are unbelievably accommodating, the rooms are gorgeous and it is just the most peaceful area.

The riad is set outside Marrakech, but if you are happy to be away from the hustle and bustle of the medina this is perfect. When you do wish to travel in to the city there is a free service until 6pm where the lovely driver will take you in and out. there is a small charge after 6pm. This was the most beautiful peaceful hotel with a fantastic relaxed atmosphere. The grounds are beautiful and having breakfast on the patio every morning was a fantastic start to the day, and warm candlelit dinners in the evening were amazing.

The staff were absolutely brilliant, I can't rate them highly enough or say enough positive things about them. We are both vegetarian and every day for each meal during our time there they made us varied and tasty meals, but with no fuss and no hassle. We were so pleased by their service and kindness, they are a credit to the riad. We also made use of the massage service, it takes place in your room again with no fuss and was so relaxing. There is also a brilliant hotel - airport service and hotel - medina service as he riad itself is off the beaten tracks.

Overall = we loved it and can't wait to go back.

My husband and I had a wonderful and unforgettable stay at the Riad Jawad. The service was excellent throughout and the room was more amazing. The Riad itself was the perfect oasis of calm and was hidden from the busy roads leading into Marrakech providing a heavenly peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast and lunch served in the garden by the pool was out of this world and the candlelit dinners were the perfect end to the day.
We would highly recommend the Riad Jawad for couples or families alike and will defintely return for a holiday in the near future.
