Owner description: After the bustle of the souks the best way to enjoy the place and a time of rest and relaxation is to simply collapse on a poufs or bench covered with printed tarpaulin Spirit 70 designed by Hassan Hajjaj , enjoy drinking a pot of green tea with mint or a natural organic juice ahead, flipping one of the many books available to customers in the patio, the lounge or on the terrace.

We visited Riad Yima and once inside I was blown away by the colourful art decor. A very relaxing and social place to sit and have a nice cup of mint tea. The hosts offered us a sandwich which was delivered and I must say it went down well with us.

There is artwork by Hassan Hajjaj which is absolutely phenomenal, I have never seen such vibrant works of art.

The riad is big but has a very homely feel and at the same time it feels like your in an art gallery all rolled in one.

Riad Yima is a hidden gem placed in the heart of the main square. You wouldn't think such a place existed amongst the husttle and bustle of Marrakech, but it does.
The t-shirts by riad yima are of good quality and I proudly own two of them

Thank J K
