We had the Sultanes Room, which has a large terrace overlooking the grounds. The room was comfortable, spacious with the decor in keeping with the surroundings (but with modern amenities). The hotel doesn't look much when you approach, however when your inside you walk into another world.

Room Tip: Sultanes Room is a must, from what we could tell all 36 rooms were of a good standard

Spent 3 nights at this lovely Riad hidden away down a side street. Beautiful garden with plenty of space to relax by the pool. Great views from the roof terrace. Had a little seating area outside our very comfortable 2nd floor deluxe room. Enjoyed dinner at the restaurant two evenings and breakfast outside on the terrace. Also invited to drinks and canapés one evening in the garden. Hotel staff were very friendly, arranged a taxi for us one evening and the room was serviced well while we were out. Would have loved to spend more time at the hotel to enjoy the garden but we were too busy enjoying Marrakech!

You would never know this beautiful hotel and THAT garden were behind the heavy wooden door in the Medina.

We received a very warm welcome of lovely Moroccan tea, cakes and dates.

Our room was the garden suite which was excellent. Opulent, luxurious with private outside terrace and loungers. There was a fruit basket, fresh flowers, refreshments (even Nespresso maker!), cakes and a basket with pool towels, straw hats and maps which was a lovely touch.

Lunch was absolutely delicious, best food I have had in Marrakech during our 4 day stay!

Absolutely picture postcard garden. Tropical. Exciting. Staying here is like living in a bird sanctuary, surrounded by palms, banana and orange trees, birds chirping away and tortoises strolling through the grounds!

We had a delicious goat cheese salad for starters, chicken tagine with olives (yum) and selection of mixed platter for main. The dessert was a selection of fresh mint, vanilla and chocolate ice cream and pineapple, raspberry and mango sorbet. Without a fail, the best desert I have ever tasted. I still dream about it; yep it was that good! The food was really outstanding, many congratulations to the chef.

Breakfast was an excellent selection of continental and traditional delights. Coffee, tea, fresh juices were on tap and fresh pastries were simply delicious. Cheeky sparrows were trying to steal food off the breakfast tables!

There are few roof terraces with chairs and loungers where you can kick back and relax.

On day of our departure, the hotel manager Luc held Saturday night drinks, with free wine and snacks complete with traditional music, which I enjoyed very much. It was a great opportunity to meet other guests too.

Very helpful and attentive staff, immaculate rooms, outstanding food, great ambience, and the most beautiful tropical garden you could hope for having on your doorstep! I sincerely recommend this 5 star hotel.

A big thank you to all the lovely staff who looked after us, you made our last day in Marrakech truly unforgettable. Shukran.

The gardens, which surround the pool, are beautiful and well-kept. The restaurant is attractive. The dinner we had there fell short of what we had thought it would be after seeing the grounds and our rooms, but the buffet breakfasts were more than satisfactory.
The rooms are sophisticated and well-furnished. Our room had an extra sitting room -- we had two! -- but our friends' room, right above us, did not have one. Our reservations were for rooms overlooking the gardens. Instead, our windows looked over an alleyway and into a residential neighborhood. Outside of our room was a patio with two small tables and several chairs, which looked over the gardens. Our friends came down a flight of stairs to use the patio. We had been told it was our patio, but another guest seemed to think it was the perfect place to smoke. Fortunately, she arrived just a day before we were to leave.
All the rooms on the second and third floors were reached from stairways. The layouts were interesting, but there was no elevator, at least on our side of the medina. The sun deck on our side of the building was on the fourth floor. The sun deck, which we visited late in the afternoon, had not been cleared of used plates.
There was a problem with the prepayment of our reservation. We had sent in a credit card number seven months before our arrival, but when we checked out, we were told we hadn't paid. I could not remember if I had seen the charge on my credit card bill. We were told we should call when we got home if indeed the charge had gone through. The manager said the card had been rejected. Turns out the card had to be cancelled due to an unauthorized charge by a stranger a week before we were to leave on our trip. That was seven months after having made the reservation. The same thing happened to us in a hotel in Rabat, our first stop!
We will now think of Morocco as the place that doesn't collect their payment until the last minute.
I cut my hand while putting a new roll of toilet paper on its holder. There was a screw sticking out that was invisible to the eye. The staff was responsive in that they sent someone to look at it, but they did not cover the sharp end of the screw or replace it.
There is a small boutique near the dining room that has some nice little gifts.

Room Tip: If stairs are not easy for you, ask for a room on the first floor or, at the very least, the second floor.

We stayed here for 3 days arriving very late at night but receiced a wonderful warm welcome! The hotel is stunningly beautiful and such a surprise as so u expected from the heavy Wooden entrance door.
We arrived in the middle of a heatwave 104 degrees but the hotel & room were wonderful and cool, the pool a real oasis!
The food both dinner and breakfast was incredible, lots of fresh fish and fruit and nothing was too much trouble!
I would return in a heartbeat! Definately thinking of planning a 'girlie' trip here as felt so safe and cared for.
One tip we would recommend is that you ask concierge to organise transport from the airport as the hotel is well-known but tucked away. We were in the hotel within 25mins of leaving the airport. Fabulous!
