This was a pleasurable stay. A suitable place to rest your head at night, and relax in between excursions.

Muhammad (in the nicest possible way, an absolute lunatic!) and Hanna were very welcoming. Muhammad looked out for us and made sure that we knew the right prices to pay for things. He was very hospitable and ensured that our every need was catered for.

Every morning, breakfast (a variety of pastries) was served to us. Was nice, but if we stayed any longer, would have gotten quite repetitive / boring... However with that said, it is a little something to get you started on your day.

The location of Dar Asdika is quite ideal. Lots of food places are near by, near the central square, and also near enough to New City (where it is more modern and built up)

If staying here, ensure to get a 'card' from Muhammad so that cab drivers can drop you outside the place, instead of being ditched half a mile up the road at night, in dark alleys like we were!

This place is recommended.

Room Tip: If choosing the top terrace, wifi can be very weak. Also, if travelling in Winter, the house/room can get quite cold.

Its small, but very cosy Riad...very close to Jamaa el Fna. Breakfast done whenever your ready, no need to get up for certain times. Nice terrace to sit in during the heat hours. Free Wi-Fi in Riad and all rooms.

Room Tip: If you get roof/terrace room, make sure there are no other visitors, otherwise it can be noisy I guess. We were alone and were very happy to get terrace room.

Dar asdika is a true oasis in the chaos of Marrakech! It is a perfect place to stay in Marrakech. Cozy, family, clean and comfortable. It is a ten minute walk from the main square of Marrakech and the entrance is like stepping into another dimension! It has the structure of a kasbah and a terrace for a tea really fabulous. The owner is very nice and helpful! You eat well, try at least once dinner! In other words it's like being at home.

This is a good hotel with a personal touch - hospitable owners and very comfortable room. The family who run it are excellent, and the price is brilliant for this location. Not particularly high end, but very comfortable and a lovely place to stay.

We booked this hotel when there weren't any reviews yet. So it was a bit of a gamble.

We asked for a pickup from the airport and the driver had a sign with my name on it.

We were travelling with 2 couples and 1 baby.

Very kind staff. (only spoke French)
One lady runs it and makes sure you have a great stay.
She makes breakfast every morning with fresh OJ. Unfortunately it was the same breakfast every single day. She helped us out tremendously when the baby became sick on a Sunday and helped us finding a pharmacy that was open on Sundays.

The location is great. About 10 minute walk from Jeema El-Fna and 15 minutes from Gueliz.

The hotel is cute and small and only has 5 rooms with a roof terrace. It can be a bit noisy at times, because it's such a small hotel.

The hostess arranged a day trip to the Atlas (L'Ourika valley in the Atlas mountains) for Dh 600 for a total of 4 adults and 1 baby. The driver spoke English and was very kind and willing to step when- and wherever.

Creditcard machine wasn't working. With a limit of Dh 4000 per day (bank) I had to go to the ATM and take out money for 2 days in a row in order to pay my bill.

Wifi dropped quite a few times and wasn't very stable. I personally had to fix it. (reset of the router)

Rooms (Fatima and Malak) were only cleaned after we asked for it. Only Fatima had a very small window to the alley way. Malak had no windows.

I would definately recommend this hotel to people that travel as a family or (old or young) couples!

We had a great 8 day stay at Dar Asdika!!

Room Tip: We stayed in Fatima and was big enough for 2 people. Our friends stayed in Malak and had a baby with a crib. Both rooms were big enough. Unfortunately only Fatima had 1 small window.
