A lovely Riad in the middle of a maze of roads in the Medina. I was in the Carmin suite on the ground floor, nicely decorated with a very large bathroom. Quite peaceful and cool from the heat outside. The team were professional and friendly especially Hassan. I'd recommend a stay here.

Room Tip: Very Central

Stayed in ground floor room, my daughter was on the second floor. We had the deluxe room with the biggest bed and 'shower' I've ever seen. The rooms were very clean as was the rest of the place. Breakfast taken on the terrace which was on the 3rd floor. Nice breakfast, could only be improved by the addition of some fresh fruit. doesn't really have a restaurant but we ordered a meal for our arrival which was late - 9pm ish and the food was as good as anything else we ate whilst we were there. Drinks a little expensive compared to what was available else where but cheap compared to the UK, Staff were great, Hassan was very helpful and ordered us trips/taxis etc when we needed it. Worth having a taxi to take you to the main attractions as it is very easy to get lost.

If you're expecting a hotel then you'll be wrong. The Laora is a building full of character, quaint and quirky. The room we had was on the ground floor and they are quite small. The bathroom contained a huge bath (big enough for 3) with a shower, however there is no shower curtain and no bracket for the shower head. That said the water was hot and had good pressure. You should also be aware that the plugs to bath and washbasin are not like european and are made of metal with holes in!! the water pressure is such that it will still fill the washbasin though I wouldn't try to fill the bath. The room was clean and maid service came every day with fresh towels and tidied the room, beds made etc. Breakfast is extra and limited, but sufficient to keep you going. The pool is not for swimming as it measures about 3 metres x 2 though it does have a cushion down its length on both sides, so you can sit and cool your feet. The decor is simple and the mint tea exceptional there is also a great sun trap on the roof with ample seating as the riad contains only 7 rooms. The staff are excellent with limited english spoken, french and arabic being the native tongue they still give a great service and will do their best to help. Hassan is the main man he speaks very good english and will arrange trips and hammam visits if requested. All in all a good, friendly, helpful place to rest your head. Quiet apart from a sparrow who visits every morning to give you a morning call.

We were stunned by the interior of this hotel...it was beautiful. Our room was lovely and so authentic. The cleanliness was spot on in the whole hotel and the staff worked hard to keep it that way. The staff were so friendly and gaveadvice when needed. The central position of this hotel means you are in the middle of Moroccan life.We loved this but I think others might find it daunting!

Even though we only stayed for one night, we can say that this riad is great. The place is clean, quiet and cozy and staff very welcoming. We also got a hammam treatment through the riad and enjoyed a great 3-course Moroccan dinner at the riad. The room was spacious, clean and well-equipped. Wifi everywhere + a lovely rooftop terrace.
