as part of a tour this meal was in a very moroccan style decorated restaurant. They had live music. The service was friendly and professional.

Hamadi is recommended in many guide books, it was probably very nice in it's day, now it is very touristy and the food was tasteless and expensive for what it was. There are many other restaurants close by that are cheaper and more authentic.

Visited here as part of a Tangier day trip and was expecting some good Morrocan food - left slightly disappointed. The soup and cous cous were both quite bland and the chicken skewer, although tasty, was very small. The mint tea was the only good thing very refreshing.

Restaurant is very traditional and typical Moroccan food. It's tastey but nothing special. Soup and salad is good. Tangine is average. Live music is a nice treat.

It was our one and only night in Tangier and we were recommended this restaurant for dinner.

We arrived at 8pm. The restaurant was easy to find and the place was quiet.

The waiter spoke English well. The menu was in different languages, including English, so no translation was required as far as the dishes were concerned. The menu range seemed limited.

The decor was typically Moroccan with lit candles on the tables to add to the mystical ambiance. There was a four man music group playing traditional music and at a volume that allowed normal table conversation to flow without having to raise our voices.

We ordered harisa soup, which was served with bread. It was very aromatic with a balanced flavour.
This was followed by three mains of chicken couscous with vegetables, veal kebabs and lamb tagine with prunes. The portions were small. The meats were tender and very tasty.

Table service was very good.

We did not have any dessert.

More diners arrived while we were there. It appeared that the restaurant was a favourite for visitors to Tangier.
