We spent two nights at this hotel and were very disappointed.
No wifi in the room; and while we were told there would be wifi in the lobby, this was not true.
Our room was on the margins of the hotel complex, before the reception. In the afternoon, staff would lounge around in front of hotel and produce a lot of noise.
The room itself was small and infested with ants. Door-key (only one per room) was problematic and wouldn’t unlock the door.
Only one chair and one stool. A/C worked either on full heat or not at all. No complimentary slippers, no complimentary water, no coffee/tea making facilities.
When we ordered two extra pillows, they were brought without pillow cases (and only after a long wait).
Breakfast was basic – no cappuccino, no croissants, no egg station (only pre-prepared crepes).
Dinner was a disaster, with long queues forming (over 10 minutes wait), since all dishes are served at the same location instead of in different clusters – so even if you just wanted to get some rice, you needed to pass by all salads, all meat dishes and so on. Dishes themselves were mediocre, with very few options for vegetarians and even less for vegans (no information regarding content provided for each dish).
New Years’ dinner was chaotic. Some of us had ordered a vegetarian meal, but for each course, we were served the non-vegetarian option. When we gave it back, a waiter would return bringing the same dish again, at least once, until they brought the right dish. We were also asked to pay for the water bottle that our guide had ordered and who had left without paying (since guides do not pay for the water they order as he had told us) – and when we told the waiter that this was not our order, the waiter got very angry at us and started yelling, insisting we pay for it. Now, that is extremely rude and the waiter could have well informed the reception to contact the guide the next morning and NOT get guests involved. The bathroom was furthermore unattended, with one stall not lighted, one flush not working, toilet paper all over the floor and no tissue paper next to the sink. After we returned to our room, the music from the banquet hall was extremely loud and we couldn’t sleep.

Good morning,
We thank you for your stay in December 2017 as well as for your remarks that will help us better serve our friendly guests.
All the time, we inform you that the date of your stay 30 and 31 December 2017, was the high season from where the hotel will be in full complement as well as the restaurant which provides two services one at 19H30 and another at 20H30 where he is generally clearer
For croissants, Eggs in three kinds: flat, omelettes and 5 minutes with a service assured until 9:30 in the morning.
Regarding the vegetarian dish, we remind you that it was a request made at the dinner of New Year's Eve and not in advance and despite this our chef has prepared vegetarian dishes while we served a special menu for this evening, an evening where the animation lasts a little longer than the other evening where can be the music you heard
Regarding the internet connection, we provide a fiber optic connection with a speed of 20 mega in the common premises and not in the rooms, a detail well mentioned in the various internet site

Best regards
Hotel Manager

After a very pleasant and educative desert trip, I thought this will be a perfect spot to end the year in glory with my wife and family. Unfortunalty It did turn out to be a very dissapointing experience. The rooms were absolutly way under anghung close to a 4 Star standards. The hygiene of the rooms was so poor, the beds were broken. But the hotel manager couldnot offer any othey alternative . We had no option but to leave the hotel and take a 6 hours drive back to Tunis.

We were here on Ultra Mirage race. Location is the Best. Staff is very friendly. Room was clean everywhere. Food choice on breakfast is very poor. Territory of the hotel is clean, pool was clean too.
Our stay in Tozeur is very memorable

We stayed for a night at the Ras El Ain and had a really good stay. The staff were helpful and attentive, the rooms were quite large with all the desired amenities and the meals in the main restaurant were well done. My only complaint would be the lack of wi-fi in the rooms themselves - the signal reached a bit from the lobby but not strong enough to work - this was frustrating.

Stayed here for just one night on a trip to the Sahara. We had a nice clean room here over looking the gardens and this hotel was much better than our resort on the coast. The buffet food was good although the waiters and reception staff were a little rude. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay
