We spent one night with a tour group. The hotel's location is on a hillside with a very beautiful view. Pluses include a very good breakfast buffet, clean rooms, a nice pool, and that the owner oversaw everything and made you feel welcome. Negatives were that the hotel seemed a bit long in tooth but did look as though they were making some upgrades. Also, as you might be able to see in the pictures, that at least some of the rooms were at the bottom of the slope and was a bit of a climb up each time you went for food or visit the lobby. They had good service from the bar to the pool also.

Found it interesting that the porters seemed to all women. Also found the magnetic door locks where you inserted a dog tag like key into a slot.

The hotel is centrally situated in the mountainous heart of Mbabane next to the city. The friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests. Their warm welcome reception, kindness and helpfulness is out of this world.

We stayed one night at the Mountain Inn traveling with our tour group through Swaziland. Two things I noted was the grounds were very lush and we took some nice pictures and we really enjoyed their Buffet Dinner.

People with mobility or breathing issues could have a problem as the rooms were down many separate flights of stairs. If it’s a concern be sure to tell them when you make your reservation. The room was a bit small but plenty big enough. There was a buffet but we ordered off the menu. They had several different steaks (filet mignon, porterhouse, T’bone). I had the filet which was different from the way we serve it but still pretty good. My husband had the mild chicken livers which were too spicy to taste the liver. He can’t imagine how the spicy ones would be. A friend had a monster pizza (ground meat, pepperoni, & mushrooms) which was good. The pepperoni was just the right amount of spicy. There was internet throughout the hotel but no USB ports & thin scratchy towels

Hi Retire 43
Thank you for staying with us. I am sorry about the thin scratchy towls. I will make sure they are taken out of stock. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. The chicken livers being spicy I apologise for however the local clientele really enjoy peri peri (chili). Enjoy your holiday
