Cafe Roma is locared in a quiet are of Kampala. Good parking spacezand good service with friendly staff. Spacious courtyard can accommodate large groups. Child friendly with small playground.
Pizzas are large and taste great. We tried Tuna, Marguerita, Proscuitto (ham) and Bolognese. Pasta Carbonara was very tasty and comes in small or large portions.
Good atmosphere which we really enjoyed.
If you sit outside near the bar area, you can even watch tv if you need to see your favorite football game!

The food and drinks are good and the service is acceptable but the restaurant does take a pounding from the open bar and the loud pop music. I don't think they can decide whether they want to be a bar or a restaurant. Good place for the younger crowd to meet up and have a quick meal while waiting for friends.

Sometimes referred to as Caffe Roma. There is a small, supervised play area behind the kitchen and indoor dining area that allows for a safe and happy margin between adults and kids. On top of this, the food is good and tastes fresh. The bar is small, but they have Ugandan beers and can make most contemporary mixed drinks. The parking lot is kind of small and the wait for food can be long at times, but the food and service is good.

I ate here twice last week. Once at Friday for late lunch and then again on Saturday night (when it was jam-packed with vehicles!).

The place is popular with families as there is a play area. Many people came for take away pizzas.

There is good service by the staff.

They sell a half litre carafe of red wine for 30k (needed a beer mat to cover as there are flies). Water is very expensive at 3,000 UGX for a small bottle.

Be prepared for leaves on the tables as there is a lovely shady outdoor seating area under trees.

They do school/family trips where children can make their own pizzas!

Popular, modern music playing in the background.

There is a clothes shop inside the restaurant.

The Diavola pizza was very hot – spicy chilli! The Hawaiian pizza was also really tasty. I wasn't waiting long for either: approx. 10 minutes.

Their wifi does not work.

Having spent the last 8 days confined to bed with a severe case of malaria, I was happy to finally feel hungry again. Craving tomato soup, I ordered from "hello food" through Cafe Roma ( a place where we have eaten regularly and happily for the last year and a half)
Very efficient system (at first) with a phone call conforming the order and delivery address - by Bbunga HILL primary school. We received a second phone call that the delivery driver was on his way. 35 minutes later we called back - no driver for a 10 minute drive. Driver was called and subsequently called us - of course he was at Bbunga primary school ( not even close by )
We gave him clear verbal directions and he did indeed show up. Exactly 1 hour ! after our initial notification that he was in transit. The soup, was packed in square foil containers with cardboard lids, stacked on top of each other (3 orders) and then shoved in a plastic bag, which was then packed in a type of backpack in front of the Boda driver. Of course all the soup had splashed out into the bag and dripped all over the place when we picked the soggy collapsing containers out. The soup (what very little there was left of it ) was very good indeed. The whole packing and delivery system - not so much !! Very disappointed and still hungry customers.
