Lovely hotel, nice rooms, good sized balcony, great restaurants and service. The only negative I left with was the fact that my camera went missing during our stay (and it was in the room the whole time - I had used it on a gorilla trek but certainly not in Kampala). I contacted the hotel and as expected - they had nothing to report. I also had sunglasses go missing (same visit) - so do NOT leave any valuables in your room.

Room Tip: Some rooms look out over the pool area which might be quieter (we faced a busy street - and was quiet - but not all that enjoyable)

Excellent choice, attentive service, large and comfortable rooms, good location, clean. Nothing spectacular, but delivers a good business room with all necessary amenities. Good breakfast. No surprises.

The best hotel in Uganda with excellent accommodation facilities, bar and restaurant. Located in the heart of Kampala city, the Kampala Serena hotel is one of most accessible hotels in Kampala city attracting both local and foreign guests.

Due to flight complications, I had a free day to spend at the majestic Kampala Serena Hotel. I love the authentic African decor of this hotel. The service leaves one feeling like a queen. I manged to squeeze a quick massage at Maisha and it did not disappoint. Serena keeps raising the bar.

Room Tip: All rooms have great city views

Its a great hotel, with great services. The rooms great views, the menu is worth trying out and a walk in the gardens is highly recommended. The bar service is great and overall its a great hotel meeting international standards.
