This hidden oasis in the middle of the Thamel neighborhood is quiet and comfortable, but the best feature is the helpful and accommodating staff. When I left my passport in a taxi they helped retrieve it and brought it to me at the airport. On another occasion they allowed us a late check-out so that we could take a shower (after several a day of sight-seeing) before taking a late flight to Dubai.

We stayed at Thamel Eco Resort two nights, before and after Everest Base Camp Trek. In the middle of the caotic district of Thamel, the Eco Resort is like an oasis of quiet. The room for two people was average, but the one for three was awesome. We tried also the resturant and the momos were really good. An excellent choice in Kathmandu.

I've stayed in the Thamel Eco Resort a few times between several treks I did. It's a nice quiet and green place right in Thamel. Nice to come back to this place after the dust and noise of Thamel.
Nice garden to relax in. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.

Really well run hotel, air-conditioning in all rooms, clean shower room, and decent food. The garden is a really nice place to chill out. The yeti bar is well stocked with Nepalese beer and beers from all over the world.
