Best view of pokhara city. It was mind blowing. You see the fewa lake and whole city from bird's eye view.

We crossed Lake Fewa in a canoe then climbed slowly up to the temple. The canoe 'driver' waits for you to return! There were lots of natural things to see on the way, berries, insects, birds, jungle. It was a long fairly hard climb during hot sticky pre monsoon weather BUT it was well worth the climb, I would have felt cheated if we had taken the bus/taxi. From start to finish we took approx half a day. Definitely wear comfortable shoes and take drink snacks to replenish your energy. There are cafe's at the top.
The views en route and from the top are breathtaking, we were lucky enough to get a peek at Annapurna for a few short minutes when the clouds cleared.

Visited this place while waiting for sunset. The views are great and the atmosphere is serene. It probably has the best view of Pokhara with the lake and the Himalayas in the background.

I stayed for at least an hour and looked around in amazement at the surrounding landscape. I had both panoramic views of the local villages on one side.

A Stupa built by the Japanese. A wonderful temple for Peace-the need of the hour. The four stages of Lord Buddha depicted beautifully through gold coloured statues of Lord Buddha. Lumbini, Sarnath, Bodh Gaya, and Kushinara. These four statues were made in Japan, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Nepal.
