If you wish to visit chitwan then this is the place. Amazing property and service. Good food. Dont miss out on the spa either. You will even be served local nepali food which as per me was simple and tasty food. Also we had a night for traditional dance aa well.

We arrived at the small Bharatpur airport and were greeted by our personal guide for our time here. Prayatna was professional and knowledgeable and an excellent guide for our three days at the lodge. We arrived after an hour drive through the countryside dotted with traditional Thuro villages. The lodge is stunningly beautiful, situated on the Rapti River. Our river front villa was huge and luxurious with a private plunge pool. The bathroom has a claw footed tub, a shower indoors and outdoors. Pure luxury from the soft king sized bed to the lounging cushions. The food was amazing—every meal showcasing Nepali cuisine from different regions— and we had our personal server, Sanjay, who was informative and very sweet. Everyone was exceptionally helpful, kind and delightful. We took two Jeep safaris (at extra cost from our package) but worth seeing a sloth bear and two many rhinos to count, a vast variety of birds and plants with excellent descriptions of flora and fauna from the guides. We enjoyed the boat ride, jungle walk and elephant bath. Note the drinks are an extra charge. Other disadvantages may be the distance to Sauraha, the tourist town with shopping, if one wanted to wander the town. You are definitely far from any tourist area here, which is the advantage of coming here. It’s quiet and isolated and there are very few other jeeps in this part of Chitwan. We can’t recommend this jungle lodge any more highly and it’s hard to leave. Note temps in the 90-100’s in April. Rooms well air conditioned with all amenities, WiFi a little slow.

It wasn't easy to find but when we arrived there was a team of happy faces waiting by the front of the hotel for us. We had a refreshing drink and we're showed to our rooms. We had a private pool outside our room which over looked the jungle.
A massive thank you Sanjay who was our private butler. Nothing was too much trouble. We even visited his village with him.
The pool, food menu and safari trips were wonderful. This hotel is a credit to the family who own it.
Amazing stay, we can't wait to return x

Our Room was close with a wonderful view of the river. All amenities that you could want was in the room. The room was clean and warm at nights. The bathroom nice and big with lots of space! We did the safari walk; safari drive and elephant back safari. They were all amazing with great guides taking us out each day. We saw many many Rhino; 2 leopard (mother and young) glimpse of a Tiger when tracking on foot; Big forest buffalo; large horn bills; sloth-bear tracks and scat; many types of antelope and many more birds. A big thank you to Marcus and Steph as-well as the Lodge staff and the specifically the safari guides for making our stay once in a lifetime experience! The guides were very informative and engaging, just the way we like it! Nikita you and your side kick (Suman just joking) were great! Thank you for the great team work and the special presentation.

We stayed for three nights at this amazing hotel. Very clean and and amazing food.I am coaliac and the whole team made sure every thing is gluten free. They even got gluten free muffins for me.

One important thing I wanted
To say about the elephant safari though .. we made the big mistake and booked it this morning. Despite the fact that we are against any sort of animal cruelty we got persuaded by other guests to book this safari and not the Jeep one as apparently you get closer to Animals etc. We decided last minute to change from
Jeep to elephant .

There was nothing wrong with the safari itself and elephants looked like they are kept well and happy ( as far as I can tell- I don’t have any comparisons ) but I am sitting here at breakfast regretting my decision. In hindsight I shouldn’t have booked it and I would like to suggest that you don’t either.

You can see the wild animals from
The boat and jeep just as good as from
The top of the elephant and most importantly you don’t support it. Sadly I made this mistake unfortunately but wanted to leave this comment so that maybe you don’t go for it when you are here.
