I write this review to felicitate the excellent hospitality extended to me by Novotel, during my latest trip to Bangkok. I arrived in Bangkok on 05 Jul 2019 (Fri) and booked a hotel as recommended by the travel counter at Suvarnabhumi airport. To my great a horror, that property turned out to br a disaster and chance landed me at the Novotel Fenix Silom. The lobby itself was impressive and a soothing sight thus rejuvenating my exhausted state.
I was fortunate to be checking in by Ms Biew, who after attempting a few times with the checking in procedures, had the presence of mind to allow me to also try booking online through Le Accor site so as to get the best deal. I was so touched by Biew's warm and understanding manner and excellent service. The checking in was done so quickly and smoothly, taking into consideration my tired state. I was extremely pleased with the check in procedures and wanted to felicitate Biew. So the next morning, I requested to meet the General Manager. But, The duty manager (DM) Ms Aris came to meet me at the lobby. Given the request was only given a few minutes ago, the immediate attending to an unknown guest was truly a pleasant surprise and only indicated how importantly every guest is treated at The Novotel by the DM. The DM, Ms Aris, turned out be a perfect host and a fine lady.
She ushered me to the bistro and spent time listening to what I had to convey. As we know, one reaps what he sows and Aris is a perfect exemplary manager for she certainly had inculcated in every staff that genuine care to guests comes not on face value but from deep within one’s heart and that exactly was what I had experienced. Aris's hospitality, finesse treatment, assuring attention and above all genuine care and concern are what had prompted me to stay all the remaining nights at Novotel Fenix.
I was so pleasantly surprised to be greeted by my favourite dessert - sweet mangoes with sticky rice, beautifully decorated and presented by the talented Ms Tidee. Her aesthetic appreciation was so evident from the decorative presentation and she highlighted it was a goodwill gesture arranged by DM Aris.
Another staff who deserves to be mentioned here is Ms Ploy and she amused me with her excellent speaking of Espanol. She sure is an asset to Novotel given her multi linguistics ability. She was so considerate and mindful.
All these four girls really left a lasting good impression of Novotel and Thailand too. Kindly extend my heartfelt contentment to these 4 staffs for such excellent warmth extended to me even without actually knowing who I am and what my contacts are. This was what very touching to me. They had no idea I am closely associated to movies and events and I have many top notches contacts in my circle but had given me such an importance and attended to all my requests. In fact I must admit, I am so deeply drawn and touched by the excellent nature of Novotel Fenix staffs and kind treatment at Novotel Fenix, that I had insisted to the producers to book the accommodation at Novotel Fenix whenever they come to Bangkok.
As being one in showbiz and having travelled around the world and stayed at many hotels, I have seen the best hotels and met with all sorts of staffs. But Novotel Fenix shall always remain as one of my best choice hotel.
