Room was a lot bigger than expected and very well decorated and very clean. i was a bit concerned about the reviews for the breakfast but it was great a small choice for the hotel but a mix of asian and western and they cooked my poached eggs to order.. i was the only guest at breakfast but i learned that the rest were people on a golfing trip so were out early... The hotel staff were plesant and spoke good english Went to the Grand palace and asked the staff which was the best way to get there.. the next day had a conversation with the member of staff and advised her what it was loke at the palace..

the 2 bars/nighclubs outside of the hotel are closed and have no idea at presant what they are going to be. I would recomend this hotel.

Lovely large spacious apartment, with a king size comfy bed, lovely lounge area and large bathroom and plenty of wardrobe space. Very clean with good maid service, our only minor issue was the beautiful pool area had only 2 wicker sun beds and a few wicker chairs which were very uncomfortable. I would recommend this hotel, it is a 3 minute walk from a sky train station, 5 minutes from the local park and surrounded by street food vendors, bars, restaurants and massage parlours.

Room tip: Higher floors are better

Nice room/ good position in the skytrain Line. We had the double superior room for 2 nights. Good welcome, professional smiling staff. I suggest you not to take the breakfast at the hotel. Too expensive for what you get. With 300 baht you can get far more outside.

If you are looking for a place near BTS and shops, this is it! Huge clean room, helpful staff, amazing roof top pool, fantastic value!! I didn't eat here as too many options nearby, especially fresh fruit in the soi. Highly recommended!

The Positives:

The staff here, to a person, are supremely friendly and helpful. They offer genuine 'service with a smile' and always go that little bit further to help out.

For those that love sun-bathing, the pool is probably one of the best suited in Bangkok for constant sunshine from sunrise to sunset - nothing overlooks the rooftop pool and usually it is empty up there - so great place to increase the tan.

The Presidential Suites (larger than standard suites) are very big and have practically everything you need.

The location is 5 metres from a sports bar, 50 metres from a host of restaurants (both Western and Thai), 50 metres to a Family Mart, Starbucks around the corner and the Emporium Shopping Centre and Phrom Pong BTS Station is a 5 minute walk away. Great location.

The Negatives:

What really lets this place down are two small (but important) things - firstly the Breakfast - very small selection and whilst the Chefs and Staff are really good, they simply cannot cook eggs properly. Western people that ask for an egg sunny side up should not have broken eggs. The Thousand island Sauce next to the small salad selection was not changed for days.

Secondly and very annoying, 4 mornings out of 10 I went to the pool and there wereb no Pool Towels at all. You then have to either go back down (if the line is busy) or call down and then wait for towels. Surely it is not too difficult to have a system in place whereby someone from Housekeeping goes up and checks the towels in the morning - that would be my suggestion to the hotel.
