A great location, calm even though close to the chaos of Khao San! They have great morals and the food is even more amazing!! Worth the bus ride from the airport for lunch during an 8 hour layover:)

Gave Ethos a go as most reviews were great & photos looked good. We had a bowl of granola each with yoghurt and fruit. 150 baht each, so of a moderate price, though the portion size was very good. Only down side was very small amount of granola in the bowl. Staff were amazing, cute cafe. Would go again if I was on a bigger budget.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, back off the main road. Menu was extensive with tons of vegan deliciousness. We had spaghetti 'meatballs' and potato curry, both were gorgeous and plentiful. Prices were ok, around 130tbht for curry, other dishes around 200tbht. Can't believe other reviews are so bad, this was the best food we'd had in Bangkok!

The menu offers a very large variety of vegan items with gluten free options and the possibility to seat on the floor makes it even more amazing.

The only negative point is that, the staff has a kind of a random attitude and their skills for the job is also kind of random (for exemple not knowing what is gluten when you sell gluten-free food) or as a part of the healthy concept they propose, they wrote in the menu that coca cola is bad (yes it is) but selling alcohol on the next page is ok? And if you want to go all the way with your concept, don't propose vegetarian options. Because no, eggs an cow milk are not healthy.

And maybe trivial but, or everyone take off their shoes, or no one, but the whatever mix the staff do just give dirty feet for those who took them off.
(There's the vegan restaurant Mango just few doors up the road that found a really good way to make everyone take off their shoes, by writing it on a paper... Think about it guys)
I give five stars anyway because it didn't prevent anyone to enjoy the food.

A few misunderstandings ..Shoes are taken off for sitting on the cushions only, so the staff are indeed supposed to wear shoes. Regarding the health pros and cons of various substances, it's all relative and complex. Red wine not healthy?

We increased service staff and those new ones are still in training so thanks for the reminder about gluten education. Everyone else is fully trained and working long time there.

Thanks for the 5 stars!

I used to come here a lot about 2 years ago.
Unfortunately, the place didn‘t change for the better. First of all, the staff is not as nice any more.
The big salad, that was once prepared with dedication (and all ingredients mentioned in the menu!) was watery and almost inedible.
Other food, like the Pasta with mushrooms was good, but the „healthy juice“ full with sugar.
Also, for those strict vegetarians/ vegans reading here: They also do prepare meat in the kitchen for their own staff. If you like it or not - up to you..
