An Amazing Staycation with a great atmosphere and highest safety - SHA Certificate from Thailand's Safety & Health Administration.

Oriental Residence Bangkok Wireless Road, a fantastic location in the heart of Bangkok’s shopping and embassy district.

You can go to nearby attractions, such as Central Embassy, Central Chidlom, Siam Paragon and Sea Life Ocean World, and the BTS Skytrain at Ploenjit and Chidlom stations.

This Luxury Service Residence is an oasis amidst the hectic lifestyle of Bangkok.

We stayed in a two-bedroom suite (120 Sqm).  The big room features full facilities and lots of free space.  It's very comfy for a family of 4 people.  A full kitchen area with all kitchenware is ready for your in-room cooking with a dining table, microwave, coffee machine, toaster,  electric stove, etc.  The living room area has a big TV and a nice balcony with a fabulous Bangkok city view! Two bathrooms are available, one in the main bedroom that boasts a king-size bed, TV, working desk, and big bathroom with a full bath and another bedroom next to the living room, the second bedroom has a double bed and TV separate and bathroom. This Two bedroom suite is so comfortable! We really relaxed and chilled in our big room.

For lunch and dinner, Cafe Claire has a value set lunch 3 courses starting at 490 THB only - the food is wonderful!

I love the Japanese Pumpkin soup with whipped sour cream and topped with crispy bacon; the taste of sweet pumpkin and bacon is accented by tangy sour cream - so yummy!

I recommended the Striploin steak served with fresh vegetables.  Simple and scrumptious fare!  I wrapped up my meal with a dessert of Caramel Flan and Caramel custard with a good cup of coffee!

The Dinner features 4 courses for 800 THB per person.

For starters, we recommend the Caesar salad, the salad dressing is so tasty!

Two soup choices and both are delicious; Japanese pumpkin soup that we just had for our lunch or clear vegetable soup with herb infusion.  We recommend the Thai Angus beef tenderloin served with baby vegetables; this prime cut of beef is cooked perfectly and is tender absolutely delectable!

Another main dish you should try is the Snow fish served with organic green beans. The fish's tender taste is mild and delicious!

End up your meal with a nice dessert homemade ice cream for selection and Oriental Mille-Feuille with Vanilla ice cream.

Thaifoodies really enjoyed our time at Oriental residences Bangkok Wireless road!

In the morning, we walked around the hotel we went to the swimming pool and fitness center on the 4th floor (If you want to use fitness and swimming pool) You have to make a reservation with the front office in advance during this COVID 19 situation) After we walked around we have a great a la carte buffet breakfast which is served in Cafe Claire.

Over 20 different dishes are available on the breakfast menu.

In the International food category; Two eggs served with sausage, ham, hash brown, mushroom, and asparagus with roasted tomato and red beans.

They also have a healthy egg white omelet, avocado, roasted tomato, spinach, smoked salmon, and sour cream, and you can also choose many kinds of eggs, made to order! (They also have a side dish for your selection add more 170 THB per one (Crispy bacon, Hash browns, Sauté sausage, Grilled asparagus, Fresh Salad, Roasted tomato, and sautéed mushroom) I love sautéed mushroom and asparagus it's perfect to go with egg!

Asian Favorites; We try Shrimp wonton soup with bbq pork; Wonton has a good taste of shrimp with sesame oil, soup is mild and tasty, and another dish we tried was the prawn fried rice the fried rice is flavor full or you can have a choice of chicken fried rice instead.

A must try Sweet temptation category; Every sweet menu is all interesting!

Belgian waffles served with peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla ice cream.

ฺีButtermilk Pancakes

Brioche French toast: THIS MENU IS A MUST TO TRY the fluffy soft and yummy brioche flour French toast ever! Top with warm caramel and berry fruits

Mix Homemade bread in a basket: Croissant, Muffin, and chocolate pie pastry, and more are all good to try!

Fresh coconut juice, Fresh coffee is ready to serve!

We had a good time with friends in this excellent Oriental Residences Bangkok. Another place we highly recommend.

A high quality hotel both in terms of the rooms, common areas, staff and facilities. We had a large corner one bedroom suite which provided comfortable and luxurious accommodation. The hotel is at an excellent location. The room rate was very competitive and included breakfast from a comprehensive a la carte menu (this replaced the standard buffet because of Covid considerations. The property also has a high class, formal Western restaurant with a Michelin star. We did not try this restaurant but a "foodie" friend who lives in Bangkok told us that it was an excellent restaurant. The gym is not large but it has a good selection of machines which all appeared to be quite new and were well maintained. All staff were friendly, efficient and proactively ready to help. We will certainly stay at this property again.

We went to this place right before shutdown so I don’t know if that affected food. It was average for Thai food. Not quality like on East and West Coast. The service was good and they were very concerned about cleanliness which was appreciated.

Dear kathrynmarycady,

Thank you very much for sharing your experience about Oriental Residence Bangkok. I did note your feedback about the Thai food served to you and will highlight to our Culinary team. We have been looking at more quality products given the situation nowadays about the virus and ensuring that the taste and variance appeals to our guests.

In spite of this, I am happy to learn that you liked our overall service and we look forward to welcoming you in the near future.

Sincerely,

Dear thr303,

I was sorry to learn that your stay on this occasion fell short of your expectations and I apologize for any discomfort or inconvenience caused.

I was disappointed that you felt that the standard of English amongst staff. Whilst we are a multi-national company that employs staff from a diverse range of backgrounds, it is a requirement that all front liner staff have a certain level of fluency in English. The Human Resources Manager has reviewed the hotel recruitment policies to ensure this requirement is more closely met.

I hope you will consider returning to the hotel, and ask that you contact me directly if you choose to so I can personally oversee your reservations.
