This hotel is an oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Located off a Main Street
It is a garden of tranquility . The staff is very kind and extremely helpful. On our recent visit we received a free room upgrade and our breakfast was included. And what a wonderful breakfast.
The rooms are well laid out, great beds, lots of storage, robes, slippers exactly what you would expect from a 5 star facility. If you are. Planning a visit to Bangkok., consider this hotel as one that should be on the top of your list.

Room Tip: If you can. Book the garden suite

Have stayed at many hotels in Thailand forwork and leisure - this one has the added benefit of being surrounded by beautiful gardens and space despite being in the city. The hotel surrounds, decor and staff are excellent. The beautiful polished timber floors are a nice change from sometimes grubby hotel carpet elsewhere. Two comments, and both from an environmental angle - no personal choice not to have linen changed every day, and, wait for it...heated toilet seats, something I would have thought a thing of the not-so-resource conscious past, especially in a tropical city!

The big attraction in this hotel is the open air swimming pool and garden> I always stay in a terrace suite which is in a low build block overlooking the pool and which has a more traditional Thai furnishings feel than the main building. Service in the hotel is very good (as always in Bangkok) and the Italian restaurant is very good, however the Celadon Thai restaurant is truly exceptional. The location is good and the chauffeured fleet of cars is cheap and very reliable. The spa, in a separate, tranquil building is well worth visiting. Absolutely no issues here and I return frequently as my hotel of choice in Bangkok

Room Tip: Terrace de luxe suite- separate building, traditional furnishings and a view of the pool

yeah, we can call The Sukothai Bangkok is truly 05 star Hotel, room is good size but in old style. However, still well maintain. Carpet on pathway walk to the room is quite old and need to change.

But the best of the best of this hotel is service. They treat everyone as very valued guest. All come with smile and willing to help in any request.

Location is a bit inconvenience. not close to BTS or MRT, the nearest MRT is Lumphini where take around 15-20 minutes to walk. I would recommend hotel to provide complimentary shuttle .

At the end if compare with the price, I am pleased to mark as 5 Star Price, but 4 star valued of Money
