Cockroaches in the room

I spent 3 nights at this hotel in July 2024 (2-4 And 5-6 July); my experience was really bad due to cockroaches in my room. That is by far not acceptable for any hotel, let alone for a 4-star cattegory; the cockroaches went up to the bed and even got into my open suitcase (that of course I closed when I detected I was not “alone” in my room…. ). I complained at the reception (they were not surprised at all when I informed them of the “visitors” in my room) and they immediately changed my room, where I did not see more cockroaches thankfully, so that new one seemed to be properly fumigated. In addition, I went down the stairs instead of using the lift (I was in the 13th floor) and there were dirty dishes in there, piling up in different floors ,what reassured me on the fact that the hygiene level was not meeting the minimum requirements standards. Honestly, this has been one of the most unpleasant experiences I have ever had in a hotel, I could not sleep at all that first night, and also it made me think of a doubtful level of hygiene at the rest of hotel facilities (kitchen, cantine….)…what is a pity because breakfast was varied and good.

In my opinion, it is an absolutely must that this hotel ensures this kind of experiences do not happen again to future guests. I travelled with a group of 6 other people and I was not the only one who went through this unpleasant experience…..so it was not an isolated case unfortunately.

In my opinion , only if this problem is addressed and solved, this hotel may collect more favourable opinions in the future, as location, varied breakfast and kindness of the reception and cantine staff was for sure very good.

Location is good and I have stayed here for many nights in the past. Know all the staff pretty well. The hotel rooms are big but may need renovation in certain areas. Restaurants offering are limited but food are decent. Rates are affordable as well.

I would not recommend this hotel.
The rooms are supposed not to be cleaned because off a campaign of the Green ????
And they have too empty decorations and lights.
The breakfast is not at the level expected.
Since most of the time you have to ask to the staff for sweetener, bread, cheese, and they are not so cooperative, in particular if compared to the previously visited areas in Thailand, where all members are smiling and really friendly and let you feel at home

The hotel is in a good location and the rooms in the upper room categories are in reasonably good condition, but otherwise time has passed this hotel by. The rooftop swimming pool area is in poor condition and the lobby area smells of sewage. It's hard to recommend this hotel, even considering its affordable price.

Room tip: Definitely only Deluxe or Executive room

Stayed here in February 2017 and gave the hotel a 4 star review this time it’s unfortunately a 2 star rating.
We had room 1110 for two nights and although it was spacious it was not clean. The cleaner made the bed but didn’t clean the room and the towels were not changed. The filthy shower curtain fell down and the toilet leaked.
Generally the place is looking a little tired and could benefit from a deep clean and decorating.

There are many old hotels that renovated and changed the hotel to retro and boutique hotel. This hotel not even can called the hotel because the hostel or service apartments at local provinces are better than this.
Lack of care and using fake pictures to promote. It only for homeless people to stay, not even value for THB 500

Room tip: Find the others place where it value for money.
