As always it is a great place to stay over. Right in the center of where you want to be, surrounded by more locals than tourist so you get a better feel of Bangkok and its people. The staff is very friendly and helpful especially the Bill captain Prachoom as well as the people at reception Thammarat and Chonthicha, They are always willing to help and assist you. The revamping and make-over of the rooms is also a big plus and very beautiful. This is and will not be my first or last stay at the Indra.

If you want to go for shoppong at Bangkok, stay at this hotel. You can shopping until late at night with secure because the hotel is surrounded by the stores. The room is comfortable and clean. The breakfast for two is good and many variety of foods.

Best reason to stay here is location and price. Our 10th time at this hotel. Staff friendly however most of the rooms have not changed in 15 years. They have renovated some rooms but mix of new and old doesn't look right. Beds in the renovated rooms on 6th floor are hardest we have ever had and impossible sleep on, after a bad first night we asked to be moved to 16th floor which was way better (staff changed room with ease and not a problem).

Room Tip: higher floor better, suggest 16th floor but not close to lift as noisy.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Centrally located in the heart of the bangkok city. Walking distance to Pratunam area and lots of restaurant surranding it. However, no free WIFI provided and the WIFI service is very expensive, 250TB for 1 hour and 600TB for 24hours. Breakfast is just okay, not much choices. 1st night staying in level 7 and the water system in bathroom not functioning well.
