The main dish which many (and myself) came for, is the fable Roast Duck.
Unfortunately, this is the very dish that failed big time. The skin was a tad dry which means the duck isn't fatten enough, the meat isn't marinated with enough herbs, it just wasn't fragrant enough. Each was sliced too thick, which means you have to bite into half size instead of eating whole. 5/10.
I chose with the combination of roast pork belly, which was a 8.5/10, skin was crispy good, was fatty enough and the meat tender, together with the mustard sauce, it was heavenly.
Dishes i ordered too, was stir fried vegetable, served fresh from the piping hot wok, a 7.5/10. The shrimp wonton in spicy black sauce meat fillings were fresh but somehow the taste doesn't add up, a 6.5/10.
Staff were service oriented, refilled our tea without asking, served dishes promptly but they served our appetizer dish last, which is fine to me, just amusing.
Being located in Siam Paragon, you pay Paragon pricing, and with that mediocre Roast Duck, its a no return to here for me.
I had better Roast Duck in Bkk...
