It's a very basic place, but its location is very convinient to make one day trips because it's close to bus stations, rooms were spacious and very well mantained, one of the cleanest places I have stayed in Thailand, staff was friendly and helpful also.

Located nearby sky train and shopping centers. Hotel's lobby comes with old theme which at first I thought that was a restaurant. Room is nice and clean, size is average and value for money. Limited choice of food for breakfast and elevators are too slow.

Located ideally in the center with walking distance to Ekkamai BTS sky train station. The staff at the reception are super friendly, warm and ever so helpful. The young gentleman who is a barista and a receptionist (sorry, I am terrible with names) make the best cappuccino I have drank outside Italy.
The rooms were comfortable and clean but the bed which had wheels kept moving whenever I rested my head on the headboard, and no the brakes weren't working. The bathrooms need improvement and upgrade.
Overall, a good choice to stay while in Bangkok on a budget.

Room tip: Try the cappuccino and iced coffee in the hotel lobby.

Booked via TripAdvisor / Agoda. 1,350 baht internet deal. Deluxe Master Suite. Surprisingly quiet given proximity to Sukhumvit road. Room was big, light, clean. Bed was comfortable. The addition of a writing desk was welcome. Bathroom big and clean, good water pressure.
4 minute walk to Ekkamai BTS (much closer than Thonglor). Very convenient and well priced room

While I was traveling through Thailand this year in January and Febraury I relaised that often if the owners of hotels and guest houses are Chinese they try to scam you! Pictures, descriptions of rooms, hotel and services, as well as conditions and prices published in the net and through booking sites are not what you will see in reality. And often, if you confront them with this aspects, they get incredible unfriendly. - I have not had such experiences with Tahi and Indioan owners. In generaI if you are not satifised and speak with them , normally youΒ΄ll find a solution ! - Take care with Chinese owners before you pay, check the room and the conditions. -

It happened to me as well when I booked in advance via booking.com for Lodge 61 and try to check in and the conditions were not the same as the booking conditions. - Asekd to this circumstances, they simply were unfriendly and asked for pre-payment or credit card. - Luckily IΒ΄ve not guaranted with my credit card. - I told them that they are unfriendly, and I am no accepting conditions differing from my boking conditions. I left and looked for something else. (And luckily found) ! - ThatΒ΄s partly a way, they are doing biz. Most people have no energy after a long trip, arguing with them and so they accept worsed conditons. - Look formy after votes and recomendations. Bangkok is full of freindly and low priced accomadations! - Good luck and a nice trip!

Room tip: donΒ΄t know - left before check in because of unfriendly behaviour of chinese owner!
