Good location

I have already stayed here three times and alway feel happy with hotel's service. Very good location, near Asoke BTS and outside have local restaurant with real Thais taste. I will comeback everytime.

Has among the best hotel staff in all of Bangkok

Whoever hired and trained the staff at the Asoke Red Planet deserve a commendation. The staff at the Asoke Red Planet are among the very best in all of Bangkok -- this includes, in my opinion, some of the 5 star hotels. This is one of the strong points of the hotel. The front desk staff is clearly well-educated, smart, and "with-it."

Room tip: The rooms are small, however, the reason I stay there is because it is clean, the bed is very comfortable, the pillows are in new shape, they have a safety box, the technical staff responds quickly and effectively, all rooms have a window, the TV is modern LED, the wifi works well, the bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. There is not a lot of room to place suitcases or clothing -- but if you are traveling lightly this should not be a problem. The rooms have modern air conditioning as well as a ceiling fan. The fact that the AC units in the Asoke Red Planet are modern, in part means that they are efficient and not noisy.

Great value and service

Probably one of the best valued hotels I've been in when considering price and comfort / cleanliness. The receptionists (specifically Too) was very nice and accommodating. Convenient to public transport and being near lots of attractions is also very good.

Will definitely come again!

Good value

This hotel due to its location has an exellent value. It is not a 5 star hotel but the rooms are clean, look good and thestaff is friendly. Rooms are not that big and there is no view but at the price you pay it does all it has to do.

Can't really find any flaws

Modern rooms, good AC, warm showers, clean, girls at the desk pretty and helpful, two fast elevators, wifi good, card entry into room (rather than bulky keys). Room size fits price point but everything is executed well. Prime location near BTS and MRT. It's just a bit of a walk into the road to get to the hotel if you're planning to avoid taxis and use the rails only. You can go straight to and from airport without a taxi (BTS or MRT to the SRT). Maybe 70b or something ridiculously cheap. Easy walk to Terminal 21 for food options solo. Gym option at Terminal 21 but expensive $30USD daily (I didn't go). Wouldn't stay anywhere else in BKK unless there's a specific need.
