Budget Hotel
3.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 3 Jul 2014
It is an average budget hotel and certainly not what the name suggests. But the rooms are maintained well and are clean. They have antique TVs. It is located far from the commercial areas. So be prepared to for large taxi bills. It is a guest friendly hotel!! Food is average.

Nice rooms , Good food , Freindly staff . Only problem - Group bookings arrivals could be handled in a more organized way . Bit of chaos ... but for a short duration .

Budget hotel - good value for money !

I had booked a tour to bangkok through make my trip. They had arranged for this property and I was expecting a bit of better std as far as the stay is concerned. The hotel is a small boutique hotel which is far away from your expectations from a three star hotel. Breakfast served was below average. The tv dint work. Location of the hotel is not convinient. I would say not a very good choice.

Cox & Kings, our travel organisers arranged the 2 night stay in 1st week of Jan'14. The hotel is far away from the central/ market places. It has a small and unwelcome lobby, single lift keep people waiting. Room amenities are too ordinary. The restaurant is part of the lobby and small enough to fight for seats during breakfast. Interrupted buffet supplies ensure delayed start of sight seeing programme. The rooms do not have vaults, your option is to deposit at reception or carry along with, please take care not to leave your valuables inside your locked baggage in the hotel room. We suffered a loss of a good amount of US Dollars and Indian Rupees which got stolen from our suitcase left in the hotel room during all day sightseeing. Several others of our group also had the bitter experience of losing money and ornament from their baggage. We could notice the stealing only at our next stop at Kualalumpur, so could not be brought in the notice of the authorities. But the scar shall remain for ever in our travel memoir. So friends my advice will be to avoid this hotel and if you still choose it be careful with your valuables.

Absolutely nothing in hotel except room. no swimming pool, no fitness center. I stayed with friends from 8th may till 10 may and regret it so much to stay here. Hotel is very far from city and all other major attractions. consider at least a taxi ride of 250-300 bhat one way if you want to travel to main city. Hotel provides free Wifi which is decent. Breakfast buffet has Indian options.

On the day of check out i got locked in bathroom as lock got stuck. finally i had to wait for 20 minutes before some one could come and break the lock to bring me out. some other guest also faced same problem. House keeping lady was very courteous and apologized many times for this.

They call them self 3* but they dont even have hot water kettle in room. no self service tea pouches.

This hotel is sold by most of travel agents in India and they get heavy commission. choose some hotel with in city you will save lots of money and time.

Room tip: Ask your travel agent for option with in room. they will tell you its very nice hotel but its very far from city.
