We had our company trip to BKK last July and chose Eugenia to be our home for 4D3N. Super warm welcome by Mr Igarashi and his team. Eugenia is a beautiful place to stay at, lovely antique design and feels like home. We had a good time by the pool every night. Breakfast was awesome with various of selections and service is good, they never failed to cater to our need and make sure we are comfortable in every way possible. Please excuse us if we did made alot of noise in the neighbourhood.

7-11 is just a walk away and lotsa of nightlife. Its a 15min walk to Asok station but they do provide free tuk tuk to the station if you need. Eugenia have a lovely bakery just outside of the house, where you can sit and enjoy your cup of coffee.

Rooms are spacious including the spa rooms and they always make sure the rooms are clean when we are back from a long day outside. Hospitality, thumb ups !

Thank you so much to Mr Igarashi and team for a lovely and wonderful stay at Eugenia. Looking forward to come back soon !

What a lovely place! Or should I say: what a lovely place that might have been!
The design is beautiful but windows are broken and roof tiles missing. It seams this place is about 60 years old but it is less than a decade! I heard they transform that place into a spa ??? Ask before booking !

Pretentious off-track hotel in sukhumvit-area.The hotel is an genuine old Thai-style building with grandeur which is accentuated by a wonderful old mercedes-taxi in front of the lobby.
Here the happiness ended.
The hotel could not be reached by telephone (they changed the number without mentioning this on the internet and travelagency,it toke us two hours to get there from the airport!
The room was nice but from the window we had a close view to the adjacent building which was very near, the bathroom looked nice but the shower created a swimmingpool on the floor. The swimmingpool looked nice but was pretty small, and the palmtrees around it prevented the neighbours from looking in.It is shady most of the time.
When i asked for a cappucino in the restaurant the waiter looked a little panicked and after installing a little apparatus he presented a poor coffee after a while and charged a starbucks-price.
We planned to stay there for four days, but were relieved to leave after one night.
The staff assured us to arrange the refund ,but we had to do it ourselves ad it took us quitte some effort

We love Guest houses which is why we chose the Eugenia for the first two nights of our honeymoon in Thailand.

It was hugely disappointing. The building is in a great location and looks stunning from the outside. However, upon arrival we got a standard room and not the suite we were promised. Eventually we got a "suite" which had one out of order, filthy bathroom and one working one. The decor was dark and depressing. The air con was the weakest and loudest, so we didn't sleep for two days.

Upon ordering breakfast we waited 50 minutes before cancelling our orders. It was time for our spa treatment. This was the only good thing about the hotel. The spa is well worth a visit even if you are not staying at the Eugenia. Phenomenal massage therapists who leave you feeling amazing!

The reception staff had no knowledge of the local area when we wante a quick lunch in the neighbourhood before leaving. They were not particularly prepared to help with luggage or any questions we had.

We would say that $400 for two days was definitely not value for money. The establishment has much potential- but it doesn't seem to make any effort bar on it's exterior appearance. Massively disappointing and would not recommend this not come again.

I stayed at The Eugenia for a couple of nights during a holiday last year.

The look and feel of the hotel is quite unique and I loved all the furniture and furnishings, it felt like a wonderful movie set.

I loved the green-coloured pool though in a courtyard it didn't have much of a view, but that is to be expected of a city hotel!

The staff were polite, courteous and very friendly, particularly the high porter who welcomed us home at the end of a late night by opening the door for us.

The breakfast was amazing, a full table of very fresh food, it was delicious and perfect for a leisurely holiday breakfast, with the papers and again, charming service.

They did have a car to do train runs but it wasn't working at the time which was a shame.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to stay in the Sukhamvit area.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool may be a bit quieter, but ones on the road side have more of a view over the terrace
