Wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was superb. Gently cruising down the river with all it's sights while having a lavish and delectable dinner was heavenly.

My wife and I booked the Apsara cruise via the Banyan Tree hotel. Right from the time we met in the hotel lobby we were very well looked after. Prior to the trip commencing we were asked if we would like to pre-order drinks for when we boarded and to what level of heat/spice we would prefer our meal. Even though the courses were predetermined they were still individually catered to each of our tastes. The boat itself was beautiful and very nicely set out with individual tables set for each group of two to four. We noticed other larger boats being boarded by hundreds of people scrambling aboard which we did not have to endure on our smaller more catered trip. These same larger boats would speed by (in relative terms) with loud music and neon lights going and did not appear to have the same laid back pleasant atmosphere as we did. The four course meal was divine and perfect to have some authentic Thai style cuisine with variety for all. During the cruise the captain stopped for the passengers to take photos and even provided a photo to the guests along side one of the temples. I cannot speak highly enough of the all the staff on board. They absolutely made the trip. Very friendly and attentive without being over bearing and absolutely professional. I cannot speak highly enough of all those who made our trip an absolute delight. I highly recommend this experience to all couples looking for something out of the hustle and bustle of the city.

The boat, the staff and the food were all superb! But be prepared for a very crowded and chaotic scene at the River City port - as this is where all the mega-boat dinner cruises also depart. With seemingly thousands of tour bus people crowding the halls - we very nearly went home! But just head to Gate 2 for the Apsara, and you'll find a much calmer scene. Likewise, if you need a taxi when done, ask one of the Apsara staff and they will walk you through the crowds. Stopping for a posed photo in front of Wat Arun was a real bonus. The staff on 01 Oct 2018 were all superb!

A variety of delicious food in a beautifully served 4-course dinner. The wait staff could not have been more charming and helpful. From checking whether we had any allergies and how hot we like our food to explaining what was served to helping us to secure a taxi after the cruise was over, they were both friendly and professional. Soft Thai music played during the meal (unlike on other cruise boats from which we heard music blaring across the river). The views from the river were stunning. This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Bangkok.

Highly recommended. The food, drinks, and atmosphere are really way above the rest of their competitors and worth every baht!
