Tonnam Homestay is the perfect home for family travelers. We stayed in a cottage with a loft. It was ideal for 2 adults and 2 kids.
Yul was the perfect host. Pom was amazing in the kitchen and as a culinary teacher too.
Our time in Chiangmai was magical because of our gracious hosts.
We got to see so much and do so much in so little time. Yul accompanied us to some of our day trips which include the Poopoo Paper Factory, the multi-cultural village and a mountain tribe community passed the Doi Suthep Temple. Woody’s Elephant Home was also a recommendation!
Tonnam Homestay itself is a welcome respite to the hustle and bustle of Asia’s street scenes.
The saltwater pool is perfect for an afternoon dip. The meals at Tonnam make you not want to have anything else in Chiangmai.
The Homestay cats were my kids’ favourites too.
Being in a Homestay, we had the privilege of making new friends as well, sharing a meal or two with other travelers.
We do wish it’s easy enough to pack our bags and turn up at Tonnam’s front door again soon.
