Since Seven years I travel in Thailand, this was the first time I slept so well.
And this is just among all wonderful details that made our stay so unforgettable.
The quality of the staff, the food, the pool every detail has been thought to make your stay
a dream. Oh, and don't miss the breakfast, fresh salad, fruits, selection of fresh bread and delicious Thai food. Please, don't hesitate longer give a try, you'll never be able to leave !
highly recommended !

We stayed for two nights in Chiang Mai at the start of our honeymoon and the accommodations at Ping Nakara were perfect. We arrived early expecting to wait for our room but the courteous staff was able to get us in a room within minutes of our arrival. The room was fabulous and although we didn't take advantage, the pool looked amazing. With only 19 rooms, the hotel felt small and remote, however, was only a few minute walk to the night market. Breakfast was delicious and they even made a box lunch for an early departing excursion to Doi Suthep. We had a reasonably priced couples massage at the Spa Nakara and it was amazing. All in all, we had a perfect stay and I feel the value was tremendous for the services provided.

We loved the Ping Nakara! The architecture, the staff, the pool, the beds, everything! Extra firm (really hard!!) beds is the norm in Thailand, most Westerners have a difficult time sleeping, but at the Ping the beds are soft, lush with wonderful sheets and the four posters add an elegant touch. Breakfast each morning was delicious, made to order as well as a buffet of fresh fruits and pastries. We had lunch and dinner (there was a spectacular thunder storm and rain, so we couldn't go to the night market) but we were glad we stayed at the hotel and dined. The food is authentic Thai and the chef is creative in adding special touches to the dishes. We love it! And the Nakara spa is not to be missed. Service above and beyond with the treatments being first rate! We enjoyed it so much the first night we were there that we went again the next night. We loved it at the Ping Nakara and recommend it highly!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony overlooking the pool. It's a beautiful view!

The grounds are immaculate and you feel like you are at the oasis. So calm and serene despite being a 5-10 minute walk from the night market. Room was comfortable and "classy" with all necessary amenities. Plus, as you'd expect in Thailand, all of the staff were waiting with a smile and ready to improve your stay

We once again stayed at this hotel as last time we could not fault it.This time it was at Songkram one of the busiest times of the year and to our surprise it surpassed our last stay. The hotel got into the festive spirt supplying you with water guns, buckets, protective plastic covers for camera's and other valuables as walking around Chiang Mai over the next few days you were always going to get wet (It was good to get others back). And when you you came back to the hotel absolutly soaking wet dripping water head to toe, staff smiled ,laughed with you and handed you a dry towel.
After a day out we came back to the best pampering in the day spa 1.30 hours of pure bliss.
Staff are always helpful, friendly and greet you with large smile.Food is varied, beautifully presented and tastes fantastic.
The prices for food and drink very reasonable for a hotel of such quality compared to some in the area.
If you have been travelling for a while and want a perfect nights sleep the bed and pillows here are to die for,you just melt into them.(slept so well nearly missed breakfast)
It is in good location for both night and day markets, larger shopping centres, near Ping river.A short trip in Tuk Tuk to Old City centre will cost you 50 to 100 Baht
They have an excellent tour desk who are only to happy to arange anything to suit you
All in all once again happy to recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Chiang Mai for short stay or longer.

Room Tip: It really does not matter which room as all are equally as good or over looking pool
