Libra guest house is well located in the old city and the staff are super friendly and very helpful when recommending different day trips from the city with a wide range of trips. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Room Tip: Rooms on the top floor have a great view!

I have visited Chiangmai many times and always stay at Libra!

This place is quiet, quaint, and inviting. And has a great location. You hardly feel like you’re in the big city when you stay there. There is a lovely outdoor common area on the second floor for yoga, or enjoying a coffee and a book and the rooms in the back of the guesthouse are surrounded by a beautiful garden. The rooms are simple but have everything you need and offer fan or AC options.

The staff and family working there are helpful, kind and FUNNY, and really want you to feel welcomed into their home, and will help you out with booking anything you’d like to see/do in Chiangmai! Plus they can cook up some delicious Thai food and hearty breakfasts! The fresh coffee is some of the best I’ve had in Asia.

If you have enough time during your stay in Chiangmai, I HIGHLY recommend doing the jungle trek (2-3 day options are available) it’s an awesome way to see beauty of the national park, the local lifestyle of the villages, and an ethical interaction with elephants and other wildlife.

I definitely have recommend this place to my friends and family!!

The ladies at libra were great they own and operate this Guest-house and also live in it. The food is great and reasonably price. The newer part of the guest house obviously is nicer, the beds were confortable and if you are just looking for a place to sleep this will be more than enough.

Ps: I stayed here while on a 40 days backpacking trip through Laos, Thailand and Cambodia. My standards were much lower for this trip as it is SE Asia.

We stayed for 5 nights. The staff are the best. The jungle trek tour was hard but amazing. Loved seeing the elephants in their own environment. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They booked everything for us. I would highly recommend anyone going to Chiang Mai to stay there. Miss you already Dow and Poi

Decent place, bed sheets had some stains bathroom wasn’t too clean toilet stained and barely any water in the morning. Don’t empty your garbage for you and have to go down stairs for new towels and toilet paper.
